Loungefly is like a horse 😂😂 couldn't have said it any better

I have 1 Okoye mini backpack that I display on my shelf. As an older woman, it does not fit my fashion style. But I will sometimes wear my black panther cross body bag, the green one not the panther shaped one. I agree the craftsmanship is magnificent on these bags. I also think the price point is too high for the audience that these items are styled for.

I'm over 50 and I love Loungefly mini backpacks 😍 I think they're made more for Cosplay and as a good bag to bring to amusement parks 👍 You're right they are too small for guys but for us gals we can fit a lot of stuff in there & even a water bottle on the sides 😃 I like giving them as gifts since my mom & my daughter like them too 😎 I did stop collecting them because they are so expensive yet I still have like 15 of them 😆 I actually use all of mine as my daily purse but some people just like to display them and only use them for special occasions like going to Disney 😊

When I first found out Dollarama had pops for $5 I was very surprised.

My mindset is going in the direction of seeing Loungefly bags as a luxury collectible in the same sense as Premium Sneakers for the Sneaker collector's. If it's sought after ones, they will collect it, but will not use it for its intended purpose. At least that's my viewpoint lol.

There's LOTS of money in Loungefly. That MLB bag isn't a "Loungefly" based on what I've come to see (granted I've only been around for about a year.) After Funko and Loungefly joined forces, they seem to have three levels of bag. One is a "Loungefly" that doesn't have a Loungefly tag on it. Then there are those that are most often from EE which are exclusive to them, but have soft tags. Those cost about $10.00 USD less, but also MAP (NOT MSRP) about $50.00 to $60.00. I sell exclusively online or at toy shows/conventions. Loungefly is to (with all love) nerds as Prada is to fashionistas. High quality, you know what it is when you see it, and definately not a daily wear (unless your my wife where I find my inventory is off by one on occasion...) Guys do wear them. I paid for a booth one time by simply handing the show runner an exclusive. I don't carry anything except Disney. In my experience, (and from what I've seen in Facebook groups), anything Disney sells. Park Exclusives can sell for like $400.00. It's nutty. I've expanded my booth layout to about half Loungefly. I use these plastic displays that stack and it has the "Dodge Viper" effect (Google it.) I usually run show specials of purchasing two or more Loungefly items and get 15% off. Plus, I'm one of the only booths in most shows that take credit card (????). I did a CLASSIC TOY SHOW and sold over $1200.00 Loungefly in one day. And I wasn't even the only booth selling (though I was the most aggressively priced... 😂) Love your show! - Jason "Pack Dad"

Great video and great comments so far! I agree with all that you guys say. I love the designs but find them very expensive and small, even for my niblings to take to school! I’ve seen a lot of collectors buy them, having a full wall of them, and even use them, though. Oh, and I keep checking in Dollarama stores, but haven’t seen any yet :(

My wife owns 2 but doesn’t use them often at all, and when she does it seems to mostly replace her purse. 100% agree they look cool and I think if they made them full size so you could put books in them and use them for school it would be better. But I don’t think I am the demographic they want anyway. Male in my late 30’s lol

I've only bought Loungefly bags that came with Funko pop and was less than LE3000 pieces, besides that I'm not into it, great video 👍 😎

i think the jackie pop and bag price is because the bag is clear and made to be brought into baseball stadiums. they want people to buy/use this one

I think I would get one if they were bigger so I could put them to use. But there is a lot of money. They look cool and all..

I don't really collect them at all. I have a Friday the 13th one. I picked it up thinking it was cool and to use at Cons instead of carrying a purse. I also used Hot Cash to knock down the cost. The bags are a little too pricey for me.

I own about 190 Loungefly bags & only 3 Funko Pops. I rotate the LF bag ever week.

I think funko needs to rethink on these bags I feel like pricing them differently does push away collectors and others who do like these bags why not just price them equally by the way the straps does fit really good on bigger people lol

Me and my wife kinda collect the mini bags only if they look nice and worth it I draw a lot so these bags hold art supplies so I use mine to go around and draw my wife uses hers for work and when we go out so their kinda worth it.

These work great if you have kids. I use mine al time.

I use them as my purse. I think they are for woman not guys lol

A lot of my girlfriends love & collect them but my guy friends won’t touch them lol.. I only have a couple of the Stranger Things ones.. I like the one that looks like a Demogorgon & was bundled with gitd demogorgon.. I had no idea any were going to dollar stores! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤔 great video!

Honestly if they made a bigger one i think they are interesting but they are definitely for kids an woman i dont even think i could fit my steam deck in one which is a shame i would love to buy one

The different price points are for different quality. They do this on purpose to allow collectors and fans with different incomes to still afford a bag. The point was not to make designer bags but good quality bags with pop cultute themes that are affordable. 100 dollars seems like alot to some but its still not designer prices. Hot topic sells lower quality bags at a lower price. The sequins cost the most for obvious reasons. If the bag has a metal plate its more expensive. Its rich hearing toy and figure collectors calling art bags useless. These bags are not just for teen girls. You have to understand what nostalgia means. Im 35 i kove these bags. Older women than me wear them. Nerdy men and gay men also love then. You dont get it. Thats cool. The only problem with loungefly is over saturation of the market and the pandemic issues that made pre orders a bad idea. The bags at dollar store are not faux leather and they certainly dont glow in the dark, light uop or have sequins the also most likely dont have a fun lineing inside. The wallets are expensive to make, that ehy theu stopped making key faux keather key chains and why they dont make as many wallets.

Always though they looked cool but would not add that to my collection unless it was something super cool like a Back to the Future item. Like Fish I could not wear it. It would be fat guy in a little coat stetch.

Thinking the MLB bag might be the canvas style rather than the leather given the price? Loungefly bags are definitely geared to people who go to Disneyland or Universal and use them as part of their outfits. 100% a fashion piece rather than functional

Funko need to stop bundling the pops with the backpacks. Most people only want the pops

Plus the way they ship the pop and bag is very poor most of the pops come badly damaged
