I rember going here when is was 2 or 3 and now I'm going back there on all the kiddie rides. Oh good memories

i love Hayling Island i went there every month with m y uncle arthur and sometimes with my family i spent most of my time on the rides and talking to my best mate Ricky he works there and he is fantastic. This was back in the 90s and then moved there in 1993 in Havent Road.

I live on Hayling, and I love Hayling,...When I moved here, I was welcomed in, and for the South, thats not normal. You have to be a bit Zany to survive here, and I am, so I fit in, you have to visit Funlands at least twice a year, its almost law to get drunk in the Lighthouse at least once. You have to understand that everyone in the Co-op is completely nuts, and thats just a given. Its funny, the weekend London visitors properly stick out like a sore thumb, because they are the ones in the barbour wellies, and the £100 flip flops in the summer, and they forget that they arent in London, and its wiered NOT to talk to people. And I forget to mention the beach, its differently stunning, for different reasons, at different times of the year, and its miles and miles and miles long. And if you put the effort in, and go to Sandy Point, guess what,yes, its SANDY!!!! The shops are ran down, because all shops in all high streets are, thats a fact, but there is nothing you cant buy from a local shop or Co-op on Hayling. We even get tornados and everything! And has anyone, ANYONE has ever had a neighbour retire at 65, sell their house to buy a horse box that is converted into a campervan, and go travelling and surfing around europe for the next ten years, as their retirement plan? I think not many..... SO, come here in the summer, spand a bit of cash at the ice cream shop, or get a tub of Northney Ice Cream, have a few hours on Sandy Point, paddling and building sandcastles with a disposable BBQ from Hayling hardware, and some burgers from the farm shop in Stoke. Go to funlands after 7pm, and get your fiver wristband, and have the best value 2 hours of seaside thrill rides you will ever have, go eat fish n chips on the beach, have a game of pool in the pub, and, then sit on the beach until the sun sets, then watch the ships on the solent Q to dock in at Pompey, and think, where in the country, could you have had a better day out for less than £20.00

i live on hayling, but funland never seems to appeal to me especially at £7, but then i suppose i dont like chessington etc, no adrenaline, if u want adrenaline go and steal a pie from a fat guy with a rifle ; D different people like different things, i know people who live down there coz they love it so much

When I went there I went on the first ride shown here and there was a nail sticking out of the back of the seat and I got a very sore injury and all they said was “oh it’s been happening a lot lately “ not even bothering !!!!!!!!🙄😩

Its awesome I got there alot and I go on Tornado on my own my bffl is too scared to come on with me!
