Imagine that you live with a hyper intelligent alien that regularly does things you do not understand and cannot comprehend, yet certainly has significance, such as being able to operate a device that allows you and it to travel vast distances quickly. That alien then puts a strange object inside a doorway. Like many of the alien’s things, you have no idea what it is or why the alien has placed it where it is, but surely it is important. While the object does not fully obstruct the doorway, how would you know for certain that passing through the doorway would interfere with whatever plan the alien had for it, resulting in consequences you cannot even imagine?

I read somewhere that playing with dogs with lasers too much can actually give them really bad psychological issues because they can never actually physically catch the laser and it drives them crazy and they eventually spend many of their waking hours looking for the laser to appear and their sleeping hours having nightmares about the lasers. Doesn't affect cats the same way I don't think for whatever reason. Might be the same concept with the snowballs and dogs though but I'm sure most people only do it in moderation.

Aninals base most of theyr decisions on body language. Thats why you can se dogs scare bears and lions and russians scare bears. Its all about standing your ground. The animals will get scared that such a small animal can be so brave that they belive you are dangerous.

I let him walk around with the one he picked but then lead him to the cheaper stuff and get excited about those toys and then he "decides" to "find" another one. works every time. also works with kids too. and just a tip, go to the thrift store for super cheap stuffed animals!

it's funny, but imo, it makes so much sense. For us, humans, we know it cannot be a real living tiger as it sits still, but for an animal that has no experience with the toy beforehand, his response is totally reasonable, unlike the others in the vid. Just like mannequins can trick us (being so realistic) sometimes.

I remember watching a video of a dog that kept jumping over gates their owner installed in the kitchen or something. They kept making the gate taller and taller, but the dog kept being able to jump over it. Eventually, they just put the vaccuum in the way, and the dog didn't dare jump over it! Lol. Animal logic is so humorous to watch.
