This scene was so relatable. As a kid my family would always scare me using ghosts, one day at night time I heard noises from hallway in dark. A ghost turned up screaming at me. I gasped but at the same time yelled back out of instinct and threw whatever came in my hand. Turns out the ghost was my brother trying to scare me in a costume. The situation was haunting but at the same time funny. That’s why real horror movies never made sense to me that why characters are always standing stiff for ghosts to come and scare them when naturally you’ll try to grab anything to defend yourself even though it wouldn’t work at all against a ghost.

This movie is awesome. Well scripted, and well casted.

Rick is the ultimate tough guy with a heart of gold and I love him. Brendan Fraser is the ultimate adorkable father figure and I love him. And yet somehow they are one and the same. How can this be 😭

It’s a perfect summer adventure film, right along side the Indiana Jones films and others. From the horror, to the humor, to the romance, to the action, this film is a nonstop roller coaster. This movie has sooo many funny moments. The Mummy 1 and 2 have everything you want from a great, movie. All the actors were superb and had amazing chemistry with one another. There was a cool storyline, special effects that still hold up 25 years later, then there's the vibe of ancient Egypt, and the music on top of it all is perfect as well. Someone should start a petition for another Mummy movie with the original cast. Maybe about something to do with the Mayans or Inka. They had plenty of their own mummies.
