Im doing the "no homo" thing for like 15 years now. 2 years ago, one of my friends came out and "no homo" is still on table, hes still using it himself too. Kinda funny.

Violence is shown often because it establishes stakes in a way that's attention-grabbing and unusual. We don't experience it in normal life often. Putting it in a show is not normalizing it. I love Romesh but it's just comedy. He's talked enough about entertainment to know that's not how it works.

Yes, but when some people say 'asked', it sounds like 'arst' - "I arst you a question". I suspect that's where the difficulty lies. Happy to be wrong: that's just my two-penn'orth. Edit: I'm from the UK; other countries' mileage may vary.

I mean...he wasn't actually for polyamory, or he and his wife would actually be doing it, or talking about it with the seriousness that he talked about normalization of gayness. Polyamory is funny to him, not serious. Not sure it should be taken as any kind of advocacy.

I like the nohomo bit. it's hilariously stupid as a thing to say anyways. I don't feel gay complimenting a dude. saying nohomo makes it seem like the intention is questionable. and there's either an understanding or not when ya offer to blow your friend in front of ppl. haha, adding nohomo doesn't really do much at that point.
