Although that likely makes a bit of a mess, it must be soothing with all of that purring and nudging! All that matters is that kitty is happy, and that is one happy kitty!

to anyone saying she was weaned too early, this is not the case. although some cats may suckle you or other things because of being weaned early, in most cases of hair chewing, your cat is simply trying to socialize. they use grooming to socialize with each other, by licking each others faces and heads. pets view you as a friend and show this affection by grooming you. it's the same reason your cat may lick your arm or face, or rub up against you. it's their way of saying “I like you.”

Sort of a myth that cats do this because of being weaned early. Even cats that aren’t, suckle. Usually it means they’re comfortable, content, marking territory, etc.

Mama Bambina me to. I used to love it when my little kitty would jump in my lap and groom herself. She'd do it for almost an hour and I would get so relaxed I'd fall asleep. Really miss those days

I had a kitten that licked my ear lobe in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. He would press his paws on my face as if he was trying to nurse xD

I know they have service dogs that help with anxiety but i wonder if there are service cats that help veterans with stress or ptsd because this is oddly calming.

You can look at male Maine coons. They’re basically teddy bears the size of dogs. Just be sure to do research.

She looks like a maine coon, I know this is an old video but I was surprised to find a vid like this. I had a childhood maine coon who loved licking scalps, cool to see that this is a trait that can be found in other kitties. I miss my old cat. :(
