You know say what you want about Bill Cosby and what he's done and how disgusting it is if in fact he did those things he is accused of, but we should never attempt to take what he created with this show from him. I think it will be unfair especially to the amazing Phylicia Rashad and other 4 amazing women who made the Cosby show one of the amazing lessons and a template parents could use to raise family. I find myself modeling my family after the Huxtables each day and I was not even in the country when this show was on the air. This show made it possible for America to see black families in a light that was unimaginable. Thank you to all the creators and the actors of this show for that. I am grateful.

In life, 99% of people do good things and bad things, so I can easily make the distinction between the good Cosby did in his work, and the bad he did outside work. That makes him an average Joe. Its the people who put celebrities in a standard they can't reach themselves.

Okay, now I agreed with Cliff! Women can have a need to be rescued as can men! But by censoring Cliff and not allowing him to speak from his perspective you could already see the beginning of the "political correctness" road. People can no longer speak from their hearts for fear of insulting someone. Even if someone is less correct on a matter don't they have the right to feel how they feel and respectfully express those feelings? 😉

I see plenty of women constantly saying online how they want a man who "can protect me". Is that really so much different from what Cliff was saying here? I'm actually a woman myself, but it always makes me chuckle when I hear this "I want the kind of guy who can protect me" crap. Are women in constant danger or something, lol. I'm 46 years old and still alive, never needed a man to protect me from anything... but they are nice to have around for other stuff LOL

@@caramelhoney29 Even if it is all for comedy there is a truth to what he said. The thing is we try to make that a bad thing when it really isn't. And like he said, men also too feel the need to be rescued. Just cause they aren't too vocal about it doesn't make it any less true.

@@DocUno1 HUMANS don't like to be told the truth. It goes both ways. Tell a man he's honestly terrible in bed (and yes I know it goes both ways) and see how that goes. We are ALL wired to enjoy lies. It feeds our ego. Men aren't any different. They only hide their disappointment and pain better.
