To celebrate the Ryder Cup 2021 between USA & Europe we are playing a match at Bentham Golf Club with a twist. We play Greensomes Vs Foursomes.
I get 8 shots on this course & my partner Ebay Pete gets 15 & we are playing GREENSOMES which is a competitive golf format for two-person teams. It's very similar to foursomes. The only difference is that both players hit a tee shot. The best tee shot is then selected and alternate shot is played until the completion of the hole.
Peter Finch handicap is +4 & Mr Barlow who gets 15 shots are playing FOURSOMES (played either in match play or stroke play), where two partners compete together as a side by alternating in making strokes at a single ball. The Rules for this form of play are essentially the same as for individual play, except for requiring the partners to alternate in teeing off to start a hole and to play out each hole with alternate shots.
