It’s nice just to sit down in the patio and enjoy an intimate view of this once magnificent 15th-century castle only a few hundred meters from Ballycarbery House.There is even a private lane going from the house itself down to the castle which has remained undisturbed for several hundred years.

This is the funniest scene in the movie. Cracks me up every time lol! But when you think about it, there is a double standard. If a man proposes, he is not desperate but if a woman does it, she is? And Why should a woman only be able to propose every 4 years? But anyhow, not to ruin this hilarious scene, just something to think about!

This is probably one of the accurate portrayals of an Irish guy I've seen in ANY of these movies. That's what we do. If she's acting stupid we mock. Ever seen the stupid Gerard Butler & Hilary Swank movie where the guy narcissistically leaves messages for her to arrive after he dies, because he feels he's so amazing that she will never get over him?
