Awesome power of humor since I have inflammatory bowl syndrome and it sucks to deal with without warning and it's pain, well sometime it just won't stay in and stay quiet. Funny how people react. Most of the time when you fart everyone looks at you then they look at who they're with to see that persons reaction if that person laughs they laugh too. flipfloplogic -a late friend of mine and I were to meet another friend in the rotating restaurant atop the Calgary “Space Needle”-we had our best duds on and everything. The elevator is express from the ground to the lobby of the restaurant. We get in last after a number of other people and stood facing the doors. The doors close and we start to rise up to higher and higher views of the city when, all of a sudden, my buddy rips one-not loud, but Oh Jeez!-was it ever a stinker-I mean, indescribably bad, gaggingly wretched and disturbingly disgusting. I was trying not to laugh because it’s a long ways to the top and I didn’t want to exhale the last breath I took before he cut it. But the people in there with us didn’t find it funny. Nobody said anything-and my buddy remained stony faced the whole while. But just before we got to the lobby at the top an elderly lady behind us made a kind of plaintive, faint gasp and whimper, and when the doors opened everybody was frantically trying to push past us-gagging, wrenching, heaving and moaning OMG! Even the security guard in the lobby went for his gun... Finally, when I could breath again (I mean, my eyes were burning!) I couldn’t stop laughing, and when our buddy who was just waiting for our table came out into the foyer to see what the commotion was and asked, “what happened?” I couldn’t explain it for laughing. And the Ripper just pretended he didn’t know what was going on. It was by far the very worst fart I ever had the misfortune of smelling -trapped in the express elevator with no way out.
