Bloodstones Live Playthrough [4K, edited]

(This recording will be available in 4K when processing has completed, which will make it easier to see the details on the tiles. Note that this playthrough uses prototype artwork, but the new artwork is simpler, and easier to interpret at a glance.)
(NOTE: this game was scored incorrectly at the end, because each player shouldn't have added points for our own villages a third time. Sorry! It didn't change the outcome, though the final scores should have been: Necromancers: 67, Horse Lords 45, Dragon Riders 43, Hill Folk: 38.)

Hi - I am enjoying watching the play through, but at 1:13:29 purple moved in to orange and the attack happened immediately, however when orange moved into a white village previously they were told that they had to wait to the start of the next turn before the attack took place. Was the attack immediate for purple, because when purple moved in, there was already an orange unit on the space?

I'm not an expert, but… if you move onto a space with just a village, you can pillage it at the start of your next turn, but there's no battle involved. If you move onto a space with an enemy unit (not just a village), then yes, that will mean a battle.

Its a learning game and played with the camera in mind so its gonna take longer than usual, from comments on BGG it seems as a regular 4p game with people familiar with the rules its about 2.5h.

We had never played so we discussed every rule and thought out loud. It would be way way quicker for most people. :)
