Please go see! BIG SCREEN IS A MUST. Mid 40s aussie here, its our beloved franchise. Post apocalyptic craziness done with tender loving care. Its made by the same guy who made Babe (1995) See that too if its been a while! such a beautiful film. He also made Happy Feet. Anyway, he created the first Mad Max in the 70s on a shoe string budget, with fearless stuntmen & camera crew. Theres been 5 mad maxes in 45 years. If you havent seen , i suggest watching Fury Road (2015) first. (Furiosa is a prequel to it) Charlize is AMAZING. Enjoy the spectacle

@@blondetouragereviews hi there, no. I retract my 'suggest watching Fury Road first'. Not necessary to see any others prior. Its basically word of mouth tales of the wasteland (of a saviour figure). Of the 5 though, there are 2 'must see' - Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981), and Fury Road (2015). Just go , have wine, comfy seats and have a ball. Then come back regardless of whether you liked it or not, and see Fury Road. :) Fury road is streamlined and shorter runtime. They all in top 200 movies of all time.

I saw this movie in theaters on Memorial Day weekend. I enjoyed it more than Fury Road. Hemsworth delivered a phenomenal performance that to me was Oscar worthy material!!!

Yep this is a great movie. Prequelto Mad Max starring Charliz Theron. Its Furiosa's origin story. I have watched it twice.

The old trilogy doesnt really matter to fury road and furiosa. Max isnt even played by the same actor
