When Furiosa see's a sign on the road. She get's going her little scheme to head east. I love this scene, as we can see Ace his right hand body guard, questioning the decision to divert path. Iconic line is: We're heading east, i don't know that's the order.
Such loyalty and obedience is commended. ;) Enjoy.

I kinda feel bad for all these warboys. They actually seem like alright guys for the most part. It's kind of cool how, when the situation changes, they react with confusion but nonetheless follow orders and bravely defend the war rig.

@@clementine2718 didn't film it in Australia. They filmed it in namibia. Australia was raining during the film schedule so the desert there was covered in lush green grass. I think majority of the cast is indeed australian except maybe furiosa and max lol reasons could be simply world building or sometimes filmmakers dont want actors to emulate accents they aren't native to (check amadeus) and cannot realistically pull off

You can tell the warboys respected Furiosa, they were confused by the orders but did not question her authority or command when they deviated from the plan.

You dont understand it upon first viewing, but you realize later viewings that she has tears welled up in her eyes because she knows she is putting the warboys in danger and may even have to fight and kill them if she wants to escape with the slave-wives. She was their leader and she was betraying their loyalty and trust. And it hurt.

I've only seen it the once and I remember being moved by how silent she is, how the lead war boy takes it in & accepts it, & what he passes down the line is both the call to obedience *and* the transparency. He doesn't hesitate to share his uncertainty w/his subordinate, he doesn't lash out at him for asking questions he also wants answers to. There's really just a lot there in every scene

Ive been thinking about Ace recently, considering how suicidal, prejudiced, and poorly equipped the war boys typically are, I find it interesting how old he is, how he doesnt question Furiosa, etc. I'm assuming hes one of the few who remember what the world was like before everything went to hell, and he's just doing what he needs to survive.

There are plenty of “bad” action, horror, sci-fi (or combo movies) that I love and think “fuck yeah they really went there and made that movie. What a hot mess” and like-love that movie. Agreed. Or even have a brief struggle within the group of those who choose to stick with Furiosa and those loyal to Joe. Could be resolved the same way as it ultimately did in the movie with the loyalists winning, but would've just added a bit more character to the crew and given even more weight and impact to Furiosa's decision.

It's unrealistic in that universe. The War Boys are indoctrinated and brain washed to WORSHIP Immortan Joe since they are little boys. They have a religious fanaticism and live very short lives, hence why they call themselves "Kame-Krazy Warboys" as their ultimate honor is to die in a battle.

These War Boys in Fury Road were 1000x Cooler than the ones in Furiousa. Furiousa was just caked in CGI all around. In this movie, you can tell how good the makeup for the War Boys really is.

What does that even mean, though? Barely any films focus on a singular person without any supporting/ensemble cast. Did Arnold *star* in T2? Yeah, he did, but there were several supporting actors there as well. You may as well called Linda Hamilton the *star* if you're going by that metric. @@summer7603 I was addressing the huge amount of beef between Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy on set for the film. Tom Hardy was late all the time, intentionally trying to fuck with Charlize head. She's always on time no matter what, and would spend hours in the War Rig waiting for Tom to show up, so she was getting makeup done several times until he showed. Childish shit from supposed professionals.

This movie was amazing. I was hesitant on watching it as I'm not a big car guy and movies like the Furious franchise made me despise vehicle-based movies. But Mad Max had such amazing worldbuilding, great plot that never felt slow or off-pace, and flawless acting. The sandstorm scene had me on the edge of my seat.

After warching the new one and then rematching this one.....what was her plans here? did she honestly thing she could make it before some one didnt find out she was robbing the whole war rig?

Her plan was that eventually she would get caught of course, she just wanted to get as far away as possible before being caught. If she could've made it to the Rock Rider territory without anyone noticing they could've killed Ace and the Warboys, she could drop the fuel pod, and the could blow the pass so the Rig could get through and be protected from pursuit. Just didn't work out.
