Your TRX4M is certainly heavily modifed but the box stock Furitek - FX118 Fury Wagon impressed me far more with no modification at all. No need for the TRX4M anymore unless people like paying twice as much for upgrades to try to keep up. Because in all honesty the TRX4M is no Comp Rig unless you sink $300.00+ into it plus the original price of $149.99 figured in too.

You had an oops with the trx4m , you upgraded axles to vitavon and then left the plastic driveshafts in with the orings. Bead locks are also a must , otherwise , great video 👍

Yeah that one has popped out before. I think the cup could be an issue. And yeah beadlocks are needed.

Just a thought. Those plastic driveshafts that come stock, has any tried super gluing the pin or hot gluing the pin in place then put the rubber o ring over and then possibly thin layer of glue the or ring on? Just a thought, I could be wrong but it might be worth a shot

@@badeyes83 it may work , personally I like the look of the aluminum driveshafts , and it eliminates all the other problems at same time, for $20 . That being said, these small trucks have nickel and dimed me to death so any savings are worth looking at

I have the stainless steel driveshaft on mine already for my high trail trx4m. With a battery it almost weighs a kg

Awesome I still haven't ordered the furitek but my trx4m is about to get the Injora tarantula treatment with a boat load of Injora parts. I also order one of those motors you linked awhile ago

Noob here, just loving the fx118. Have been spending the last month with product knowledge. 1 question. Why do manufacturers not use two motors ? When I first started looking I saw a truck that used a motor front and back on a very inexpensive model. Crawling would seem to benefit from a second motor. Be kind I am a virgin.

Yeah the furitec is better but for 239.99$ should be vs the 150$ for the traxxas trx4m so there is an almsot 80 bucks wiggle room for upgrades. edit* i fonud custom axle kit for the trx4m for 66 pound so it still fit with the price gap...also i like your little terrain/test track.

I found reverse a bit to touchy on the Furitek I drove. Also wished it didn't come with a Power Wagon body. I'm over that body.

there is alot of options. Licenses depending of course but late 70s to 80s ram would be cool to keep dodge. otherwise other brands like toyota or even jeep like a comanche. They could go buggy style like a capra / ryft or similar, like alot of scx aftermarket kits. I'm also not a huge fan of the power wagon. I also feel i see alot of them. Including the 4 door one that just came out. The fury wagon is cool and i love the paint job! Just wish it was on a different body

Castiel... he seemed to want to tell you to stop pointing at his wagon. The more I see the fury wagon, a few things keep popping up; the noise from all the metal turning, the huge slack from when the motor turns until the wheels actually turn. Then there's the body. No rc is perfect. I'll be curious to see what you might do for upgrades. I agree that bronco is nicely scaled. both in mini and full size its a nice looking rig. Really like your 24th scale course. Great job with that and building in sections to test different aspects.

Fury Wagon is too noisy. Thats a shame 🤔. Too bad the Bronco broke a driveshaft. I never had a prob with mine.

It’s because the fx118 is ALL METAL GEARS. There is no way to quiet down metal gears.

how so? the use them in high end comps as they don't twist and break. The don't slide as well as plastic but they also don't twist and break

Sad you got a cat. It will kill all the Brown Anoles (lizards) that like themselves on your rock formations😵. Nice to see them running around in front of the cars, and not afraid👍😉. Cats kill everything they come across..
