This build series really was just to show all the parts that went into and then the finished product. If you want to see all the parts I used, watch part 1. This goes over the completed Scythe and what I had to do in order to make it work with a standard transmission setup. my deadbolt has rear links in the front and back. its like 10.5 in long

Hahah! That’s the same way I did my Monster truck links! C-10 links for the front and Deadbolt links in the rear. The short DB links in the front irritated me everytime I looked at it. Hahaha!

Epic Rig, But why so much metal? Doesn't Metal break more than plastic? I've heard that Metal is more Agile than Plastic?! Thanks.

Looks great! I haven't seen anyone put one together without the brushless yet. Nice job on making it fit! Mine has the Furitek brushless in it, and it's gone anywhere I ask it to so far. I agree that they're quite a different rig to drive than even a heavily modded SCX24, but they're really enjoyable to run as well. Great vids, keep it up!
