This is my film of the tenth Furness Abbey Fellowship Medieval Fair on 2nd September 2023. It was a very enjoyable day with lots to see and do for all the family and we were blessed with beautiful weather.
There were medieval living history re enactors, live music of The Middle Ages performed by minstrels in the abbey church, birds of prey and falconry displays and a host of traditional craftspeople on hand to demonstrate and explain their skills. There were lots of stalls and many games, activities and competitions for children and of course we mustn't forget the excellent refreshments!
