I think it is wonderful to have the old brown building - you don't have to be concerned about what it looks like - it provides shelter and storage and all the good things! Thank you for your videos Mary! Also - please consider using a mask when sanding - your lungs will thank you later! With IOD transfers you need to seal the paint before you apply the transfers. It really helps

Mary, I think you have used the transfers to change the plain and ordinary from drab to fabulous! The transfers, the paintwork has refreshed all of the old pieces and you have given them new life with your good ideas. I have to agree, you are very blessed with a great talent, renewing, and reviving all the seem to be useless pieces of furniture. The transfers do really compliment the plain wood painted pieces into real eye catchers. I feel once we get started in updating pieces of furniture, then as we work we seem to be swamped with new ideas and you feel there is just so much to do. I really enjoyed this episode with the different ways you decorated each piece. And you have definitely got me inspired. I have my daddy's antique kitchen table and 3 of my own end tables. Actually several other pieces that I'm going to work on after I get my new house which should be very soon now. My husband had bought a pretty good sized compressor so I can buy a spray gun. I'm so excited to do this. I've painted furniture before but it was always such a job. But now I see the joy and have so many ideas exploding in my head. Thank you for all you do and the Godly way you do it. I also enjoyed your food saving video with your tips that were so simple. I did think preserving food was so hard. It didn't seem to be when I was a child helping my mom. We froze more than we canned but we were well stocked for the winter! God bless you Mary and your family. Hi Mary, first time poster here. The little 50 cent table was a steal. It was originally an Ethan Allen piece, three nesting end tables. That’s why the skirting board was missing, or so you thought it was missing. That’s where the smaller tables tucked underneath. I’m positive of this because I inherited the full set of three from my Mother and I currently have them here beside me as end tables on either side of my couch. Mine too could do with a makeover as the finish on the tops has degraded from use and damp from plants. The mint green was cute but I think I might keep them wood toned. Enjoyed the show.
