Today we look at a compilation of furry videos of furries on the news! We see lots of fursuits and funny moments especially from the recent Anthrocon con. I think most of these videos are great for the furry fandom!

I’m so glad people on the news are making the furry fandom look fun, instead of making it look like something weird when it isn’t, and I look forward to getting a fursuit of my own and attending some cons!

IKR, It seems that MOST News Interviews they Really like to portray us as a Disgusting Sex Cult. It’s really Unfair that “Sex” is ALL They see us as, considering EVERY Fandom Has An NSFW Side in it! It’s Not like we’re the ONLY Fandom that has P*rn! I’m glad we’re getting Better representation of The fandom on the News Nowadays. 🩷 I know there will ALWAYS Be haters unfortunately… But hopefully there will be more POSITIVE news Stories that will help give us a better image.

You have got to love it how normal people look at furries and say “Wow, you guys are weird, don’t touch me,” but the moment one puts on a fursuit they’re like “Yeah, I’m into this.”

When I first became a furry and went to Anthrocon many years ago. I woke up on the first day partially paralyzed from Bells palsy. I was worried I had a stroke but in the end decided to goto the con anyway. One of the local shop owners who decided to be friendly with furries had someone throw a brick and hit him in the head. 2 and uncle Kage took excess money from the con and brought the nice owner flowers, but it was like thousands of dollars in flowers. Business owners in Pittsburg really do care about Anthrocon and for some it's most of their income for the year. We should all goto cons and be polite but maintain our excentric behavior and spend insane amounts of money. I used to spend about 2-4k in the three days of the con.

I went to Anthrocon 2023, and had so much fun I’m considering living in Pittsburgh. It was nice to not be humiliated for being a furry for a few days, and I’m glad Pittsburgh is such a nice place to be

As a Pittsburgher, I love that our news stations show that the fandom is creative and very fun, and that they don't try to misrepresent it.

People in Pittsburg are generally really helpful. Homesless guy tried to show us around all the best restaurants and then tried to sell us some socks from his pocket.

I think the $1000 per person figure from Anthrocon is all the money that comes into Pittsburg as a result of the con. That includes hotel costs, any money spent at local restaurants or stores, as well as the revenue the convention made all put together. That's also averaged out with the people who spent unglodly amounts of money, which is a lot more than one would expect lol. Nice video though.

It’s good that we are having more POSITIVE News Stories about us. I am so SICK And TIRED Of The news portraying All of us As Sexual Creeps! 😡 Hopefully A day will come when “Sex” ISN’T The first thing that comes to people’s minds when they hear the term “Furry” because we are SO MUCH More than just the “Adult” side of the fandom. We are a fandom of Creativity, Art, Love, Friendship, and Fun. 💖🐾🌈

Sure there may be “quirky” aspects of some of the fandom, but the amount of saving graces the fandom has is enough to forgive them (in a way)

⁠@@jbeamer11tv Exactly! A perfect example of A “Saving Grace” for the fandom is “Chise” a furry scientist who helped develop the Moderna and Covid Vaccines and literally saved thousands of lives. 💉 Not to mention that furries help raise millions upon millions of dollars for charity. 🩷

Hey Nightzy - I remember meeting you and Avalon at AC this year. I had no idea you had a KZfaq channel. Furries at WDW? I wish lol. One day, Mickey Mouse and his friends will meet actual furries. Their minds will be BLOWN. When and how? I haven't a clue. But I bet it will be similar to when Bash the Pinata met the official licensed versions of Spongebob and Patrick and the TMNT at San Diego Comic Con. Murphy seems like a very cool character. I'd love to meet him someday.

One thing I've noticed a lot is how much Pittsburgh LOVES us furries. Did you know that every time Anthrocon comes to pittsburgh, Pirates player Andrew McCutchen suddenly turns into Babe Ruth and his batting improves greatly. He even said he would support a Furry Night at PNC Park. Doesn't that sound great? Furry Night with the Pitts Pittsburgh Pirates!

While i love the idea of the "tour" shirt and i recognize like.. JMoF, ConFuzzled, FurDU and ofc the big names in the US - however some of these dates are pretty random, missing out NFC in Malmö (2nd largest in Europe ATM) or Eurofurence first time in Hamburg instead of an already cancled con in Belgium^^

The last time Disneyland allowed adults in costumes was Halloween 1998, I think. I went in full werewolf costume with latex makeup. They almost didn't let me in. I had a cape so people called me The Beast all night. I had a blast. When they 1/2 hour from closing a security guy told me to check in to wardrobe. I explained to him I was a guest. He was impressed. A lot of LGBTQ's used this night to be themselves. Unfortunately. Disney is not West Hollywood so the mouse never did it again. I remember it fondly, because I got to be famous for a little while. And I got a picture with Chewbacca in front of Star Tours.

You fursuit is one of my all time favorites!! You’re so cute!! I went to anthrocon for the first time ever this year. You probably don’t remember me but I did get a couple pics with you on Sunday. My suit was Ida an owl, Zee showed me in one of her shorts. My bf got some great picture of us too, the sequence of trying to figure out where you were without hitting you with my wings was just great. I’ve got to post that sometime. I’m looking to become a fursuit artist. Ida was my second head but my first full body. And I’m currently making two fursuit partials as gifts for my niece and nephew. I’m planning on bringing them to anthrocon next year (of course with their mothers permission) and I hope that people love their suits as much as I do

Sure us furries may be “weird” or the furry fandom may have some weird “quirkinesses” to it, but at the end of the day, the fandom and its people have a lot of saving graces, not just for the fandom itself but for people seeking acceptance and for making the world a little bit of a better place. Plus, no fandom is perfect, and there’s always going to be more of the bad apples than what people want to admit. Also, why be “normal?” Heck, normal isn’t even a thing if you think about it; it’s just some double standard to keep us “in line” and “functioning.” We can be functioning members of society even if we are “weird!”

that furries at disney was from mouse trap news it's like the disney equivalent of the onion 😭. I also want to point out at 11:07 is its the average so outliers can skew the data.
