Whenever there is a smell of gas I call 9-1-1, I was in a gas explosion in October of 2019, and it was horrendous. I’m glad you’re okay

Your implication that she wears too much of it, is just your opinion of course. It also comes over pretty passive aggressive. I love cats …. My cat woke us up alerting us a fire had started next door to us. I got up to see what my cat wanted and he climbed on the window and kept “meowing” very loud and different than usual. I looked out the window and all I saw was flames 🔥 coming from my neighbors house.

This happened to me in my first apartment and I ended up in the hospital and had to have treatment for weeks because the gas affected my liver. All I could think was: no wonder I've been so sleepy. Lord, I almost took a forever nap.

@@justshay I have an autoimmune illness and my body wasn't up to the task of clearing the gas from my system. It was a months long recovery. I had to take the first month off of work completely and then went back part time for 2 more months. I thank the baby Jesus I'm still here to laugh about it.

There was a gas leak for years at my old Job I developed migranes while working there.. for years we all complained of the smell... I call out of work one day and get a phonecall saying hey they found a huge gasleak... I was so trumatized from being in a housefire a few months earlier that when I heard this news I had a literal meltdown. Bailey you are such a light in my life (and so many others) I am so grateful you are safe 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

🤣Yes turning on the lights!🤦🏻‍♀️😆 That was the same for us!!! I’d tell my hubby it smelled like gas. He didn’t. For months! This past month the gas company has been moving gas meters around our little town of La Crescenta, Ca. After they were done the gas company came to inspect and there were 3 in the house for months! And then another guy checked for us and he finds two where the gas company moved the meter!!!! WHAT?! We’re safe now. I’m happy you’re safe too🤓😊

It’s why preventative maintenance to your unit is so important. We recently found a huge gas leak in the furnace of a young customers house. I’m so glad we found it.

Girl!!!!! I'm relieved to hear you're ok! We lit the gas under our water heater on fire last year and it was the scariest moment of my life!! Thankfully I had just had the 'this is where the fire extinguisher is located' family meeting the week before.. homeownership, yay!!!

This happened to my husband and I just recently. The only way we found out is because my son was born prematurely and my husband’s family came down to help us set everything up. My mother-in-law smelled gas and luckily my father-in-law had a little detector and sure enough we had a leak coming from behind the stove so he fixed it for us. Had they not come so early help set everything up we probably would’ve brought our baby home to a gas-filled apartment. Gas leaks are so scary man, glad everything’s okay Bailey!

Last time I lived in a building with gas stoves, my "super-smeller" led gas leaks being discovered on multiple occasions (including one where a vacant unit had been filling with gas for weeks). Each time it was because a pilot light just happened to go out. This seems insane to me. It feels like living with a hand grenade and having to trust that the pin will stay in place.
