Fun fact: Rachel actually played Ariel at Disneyworld for like 5 years. In the behind the scenes video for this she was saying that she had to sing ‘part of your world’ at least 5 times a day every day lol

This is one of the most relatable reactions I've seen in a while. Particularly to Geoff's Poor Unfortunate Souls. As a bisexual, I feel like the two Ursulas are the definitions of my type. First you have cartoon Ursula, a strong, confident, sexy lady who don't need no man, and then you have this Ursula, who is... well, you know... Geoff. Also, that rock scream from Geoff was five octaves, from a chesty D5 to a subharmonic D1.

Don't know if you're aware, but VoicePlay just dropped Hoist the Colours on Friday and it... well, it's been slaying reactors. Kind of literally? I don't know, but it's powerful enough that I've watched people toss their headphones aside and just walk away with no words at the end. Or curl up fetal to survive the final chords. It's an absolutely tremendous arrangement, and maybe plan to wear a cup for that one- we all know Geoff's voice, and its relationship with your bits. But Geoff's not the only danger in this one!

Agree 100% about Geoff approaching Poor Unfortunate Souls with a seductive tone. The original version is sung rather low in the singer's register (Pat Carroll is an Alto, which is the lower part of the traditional vocal ranges for women). She sang as someone who knew Ariel needed her help, and could just strut her stuff. Geoff is higher in his register, and honestly almost lilting at parts, drawing Ariel in. Also, you really have to hand it to VoicePlay's arrangement of their medlies. You saw it here and in Queen in 5 Minutes - their song transitions are smooth and natural. They've got such a talent for arranging! Anyway, I've been loving your reactions, and no need to apologize about pausing - I'm here to hear you! If I wanted to watch the original video uninterrupted, I'd be on the artist's channel.

Rachel Potter's work with props in this video deserves some recognition. Watch her put on that bracelet. It is a small-seeming task that is MUCH harder than it looks, but she performs it swiftly, seemingly effortlessly and while she is looking at the camera and singing. That amount of ease took a LOT of practice. Then she handles the fork and performs that stagework flawlessly. And once again later with the mirror. Any of those props could have distracted her or brought her out of character but she is a true pro. Also her background vocals are tremendous. Her solos are great but I think I love her fills and background work even more. The arranger(s) (Layne and Geoff I think) wrote a really smart score for her.

Voiceplay is based in Orlando and they do some stuff for Disney. So, JNone gave up Voiceplay, direct Disney stuff, music producing, being an associate at Tara Simon Vocal Studios, and miscellaneous session work, to join the U.S. Naval Fleet Band.

This one and "Daddy sang bass" are the funiest for me. You can see through their interactions that they all love each other and that singing and playing together is a real pleasure. And hey, I'm not necessarily into the humiliation kink, but I would be lying if I said that the "phatetic" of Geoff does not cause me anything lol. And by the way, I love the flag in the background 🏳️⚧️

I loved your reaction to this! Especially to Geoff’s rock scream! I can’t wait for you to see their other medley’s like Boybands in 5 minutes and Moana. You should also check out their version of Warriors. Layne plays the violin in that one. Keep them coming. 💜💜💜

Voiceplay is so great at the way they do arrangements and sing them. Voiceplay and Home Free are my two favorite a cappella groups. The first song they sing in this medley is at the very beginning of the movie when they show Eric’s ship.

Just discovered your reaction videos (a Geoff video) and you are officially now my favourite "reactor". I'm in the process of working my way through your stuff. Loving listening to your voice, had a Yorkshire co-worker years ago...it's bringing back memories. Well, honestly, I don't remember a lot about a few weekends in the Netherlands except I know I attempted to keep up drinking with the huge dude (I'm a little guy)...well the beer was awesome. Anyway, great job and love the flag!

It's really rare that someone admits that they are physically affected by Geoff (apart from the general "my whole body is vibrating" attributed to how low his voice is). and, let's be honest, he just does it for (many of) us... and not all of it is his voice ;) I will watch your reaction to "My mother told me" afterwards - really interested to hear how your opinion of Eli changes over time as well. :)

Loving your reactions! (and the snarky side comments, lol) Since I'm female I can't judge if Geoff's lows are ball shattering, but I think I felt an egg drop & I'm in menopause FFS! I'd love to see your reaction to a little 3-part series they have. It starts with "Billie Eilish in 3 minutes" and finishes with parts 1 & 2 of "Panic in 4 minutes". Wow, you are so f...in good. You are the only reactor I know of that catches so many details that others don't. Keep up the good work. Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays version of If I Were a Rich Man / Girl from Fiddler on the Roof. It features Ashly Dianne who is fantastic. She hits notes like you wouldn't believe. Geoff starts off as the lead singer.

You think she had a great voice in this, listen to Rachel in the Phantom of the Opera that Voiceplay did a cover to. If you love Disney you really need to listen to Voctave doing The Princess Disney songs, also their Disney Love songs with Kirsten Meldonado from Pentatonix and Jeremy Lewis.

I am one of the attention seeking non swearing old grannies.... However having watched a couple of your reactions to VP and Geoff, the find myself laughing at your "I'm sorry, but what the flip was that?" And "you can't keep doing this to me Geoff.".. I can now honestly say, I probably know as much about your testicle reaction as I do about my husband's... (after 35 yrs of marriage, I think I know quite a lot 😜). Lovely to hear a local (ish) accent. I'm from the Midlands but live in Naaarfolk. (sorry, I mean Norfolk).
