Normally when Tyson fury fights I have full confidence that he’ll win. But with the way he’s performed against guys smaller than him that are closer to cruserweights I’m not feeling that same confidence. I feel that Tyson won’t be able to capitalize on his opponents slow movement like he usually does because Usyks footwork is one of the best. That being said, I do still think that Tyson fury will still win. I think he’s really gonna capitalize on going to the body and wearing usyk out with his weight and start going to the body and come up stairs with an uppercut or right hand like he did against chisora. However, Usyk does still have a chance to win. He has to utilize the fact he smaller, has quick movement, and use a higher output to score points on fury. Can’t wait for this one, it’s gonna be crazy

What an amazing fight it’s going to be. Your breakdown is spot on. In my opinion it’s Fury’s to lose to but many scenarios in which Usyk could win too. The key I believe as you say is body work. I believe Fury will be drilling that all camp as it’s the only vulnerability Usyk has ever shown. Can’t wait

I can see Usyk quitting if he doesnt get help from the ref. On the other hand he could be able to keep away from fury and get easy ud

It would be quite remarkable to see either figher stopped considering how dominant both have been throughout their careers! I see a path for usyk UD also. So hard to call

You can go back look at loads of Usyks fights He always complains to the ref, and it's always when he gets hit in the body area

He’s certainly susceptible to the body no doubt. That has to be the fury game plan. Who you do you have winning? Thanks for watching!

Think it will be an amazing win for Tyson if he can do it. He hasn’t got as good an amateur pedigree as Usyk, arguably he hasn’t the amateur pedigree of AJ, and even against Wilder (second fight aside where Wilder behaved as though he had burst an eardrum), I thought Ortiz was doing a better job than Tyson (until he got knocked out). But would be amazing if he did better than AJ and beat Usyk. Think even if Fury loses, the AJ fight could still be on. And if AJ wins, he might get a third match with Usyk (if Usyk doesn’t retire). I expect Usyk to win, but maybe Tyson will rise to the occasion and show everyone that he really was the best heavyweight of his generation.

Good point on the amateur pedigree. Both usyk and AJ are Olympic gold medalists. Tyson turned pro early and got experience that way. I think Tyson’s biggest asset is is unconventional style and it seems to perplex people. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if fury and usyk go 1-1 in the 2 fights and we get the rubber match, it really is that close to call! I think fury said today that he will fight AJ in Saudi next year and that is a real money fight

@@swfighthub It is also the amount of fights and quality. For example He was even fighting boxers such as Badou Jack and Shaun Porter at middleweight (he beat Badou Jack, but lost to Shaun Porter, in fact, of his 15 losses, 8 were at middleweight. Usyk beat Beterbiev getting the World Championships gold medal as well as when getting the Olympic gold at heavy weight. He also had (in 2012-2013) at least 13 fights in the amateurs as super heavyweight and never lost. Beating Joe Joyce, and Mahammadrasul Majidov (who beat Joshua in the AIBA World Championship final), and Mihai Nistor (who beat Joshua in the EUBC European Championships Quarter-Final). Ring magazine reported his amateur record as 335-15. I don't think he lost a single amateur fight in 2010, 2011, 2012, or 2013 (in which he had at least 47 amateur bouts), and obviously he hasn't lost a professional fight. Which is why I think Joshua after the second loss to Usyk was going on about how well he had done considering his amateur career compared to Usyk's. He had only 47 amateur fights. Not sure of Tyson's amateur record. Apparently Gareth Davies reported in the Telegraph that it was 31-4, but not sure how accurate that is, because while Boxrec might not always have complete amateur records (it only has 109 bouts for Usyk, but the Ring magazine might have been wrong, maybe he was only 94-15 rather than 335-15, but against that idea is that the first bout Boxrec have for him as an amateur is a win in the International Junior Tournament Final at middleweight), it has Tyson as 20-5 (though two of those loses were by walkover). My point is that Usyk has vastly more boxing experience, and boxing experience at the higher level. And has dealt with a vast array of different styles at that top level. That said, Tyson has sparred lots of top heavyweights as a professional, and is about and inch taller than AJ. But when comparing mutual opponents I think AJ has the edge in performance, and incidentally Boxrec now rates AJ above Tyson. Amazing if Tyson beats Usyk, what a story! Looking forward to the fight, and credit to Tyson for taking it.

@@glennspigel6345 great point on the amateurs love the trivia of Porter beating usyk have heard that before but never doesn’t sound unbelievable!! Quite remarkable how different the routes are of both fighters to get the this point! Your knowledge is superb, I love the passion and can tell how excited you are for the fight also! Fascinating to see where the heavyweight landscape goes from here, for sure things are going to look a lot different after May 18th!

Not to labour the point, but he wasn't just any old undisputed cruiserweight champion. Had he of been British and signed to one of the British promoters, then I think many of the British pundits would have been promoting a different narrative (best British boxer ever). Yet as it is, even after beating AJ twice, he's going to come in as an underdog. I do think that Tyson seems to have kicked the can down the road a bit, and maybe would have done so for a bit longer if not for the Saudi money, and there is the question of how long could Usyk keep up that high energy style. But I don't think age has caught up with him yet (though maybe it will by the time of a rematch (if there is one))

@@glennspigel6345 age is a good point, both are towards the tail end now but usyk definitely so but with the trauma tyson has put his body through can that be a factor? If usyk was British he would be promoted way more than fury has great point, he’s probably underdog because he’s not in all honesty! If fury can’t use his size due to usyks footwork it’s going to be a long night!
