Miss Carol, this is an amazing beautiful project. My most favorite elements are the Cameo's and how you made the lady look like she was wearing the cameo by pulling the ribbon. I'm just in awe of your work. You deserve many 🤗🤗🤗🤗. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You are so welcome! I am delighted you enjoyed this tutorial Sky. I just made Raspberry Apple Muffins for a snack. My hubby loved the Blueberry and Strawberry ones I made previously so why not use up the fresh fruit before they go yuk in the fridge.....lol Blessings to you!

Good morning Beth. How are you doing today? What a beautiful compliment to read this fine day. I always think if staying in the house was the worst thing that could happen to me I am pretty blessed for sure. I think it is difficult for those that are alone and that is who probably find it difficult at this time. I am thankful for friends like you that take the time to stop and say hello and view my work. I do realize how long they are but I thought maybe a good long movie time would help pass the time for some. smiles I always love hearing from you and pray you are healthy my friend. Hugs and Blessings.

Hi Carol. Yes it is always great to be in the craft room with you, always enjoy the time we have together. You did a wonderful job on the album. You always give me great ideas for my own projects that I'm doing. I also have that great big bag of pancake mix from Costco. I remember cutting out the cut outs from the Eatons and Sears catalogue, and playing for hours with them. Made whole household with them. LOL. Love saskatoons picked pails and pails of them when I was a kid. Yum. Love butterflies, they are so delicate and colourful. Try to use them a lot in the things I make. Hope you are staying well . This staying home doesn't bother me because I found once you retire from working out side them home. Its easy to stay at home and enjoy being there. Then you get to craft more. Stay save and healthy and I will be waiting for your next video. Love the long ones. Love Donna

I don't know what happened there but all of a sudden my little sentence went out to you. hahaha I am just finishing my second album and I love this one so much. It is very different than this one which is nice. I started at eight this morning and just got out of my craft chair. Ate lunch on the go so I didn't have to stop for a long time. hahaha Oh, hubby and I had a great dinner. I marinated a steak all day and then make home fries to go with it. I fried green peppers and onions also and now I am stuffed like a bear. hahahaha ready for hibernation. haahaha You must have been ecstatic to see this long tutorial, my friend. hahahaha I couldn't believe how long it was but I had no choice if I wanted it to make sense. teehee. Do my tutorials ever make sense? smiles. Stay healthy my friend and hope to have this up soon. Hugs and Blessings to you.

Hi Carol, I really love all the details in this album. It's frenchie, its vintage, it's romantic... I love the beautiful soft colors for one thing, the butterflies in all sizes, shapes and styles...and the little bike on the front cover...that is so cute. Also I must say that I enjoyed listening to your stories about your family: the leather jacket and when you lived in the woods when you started your family. It is so interesting to hear you tell us about it. Glad you are all doing OK in your family. God Bless you!

Good evening my dear friend. You should know what it is like to have a "French" theme running through a project. teehee It was such a pleasure speaking with you today. You are always uplifting and kind. I pray for you and your husband that life will be good to you both as I know you are both so busy. It is nice to get to know one another as those that view my tutorials may not know certain things and end up imaging what I am like. hahahaha I love to know about my friends and how I can uplift their spirits and be a blessing to them. I want to thank you for doing that for me. You are an amazing creator and I love your work as well. Have a blessed week my friend. Hugs and Blessings

Thank you very much Allie. You are always such an encouragement to me and I have to say it does lift me up when I read that you liked my work. I have a bridal card I did for my daughter in law's friend here on my Channel. It is here and includes a Wedding Box tutorial also to place it in. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h8uEgddezbm8p3U.html Thank again for being so sweet. I know you must be good at what you do and remember we all grow in different stages. I still feel inadequate when designing different projects and have to press on and not get down on myself and just do the best I can. There are so many talented people on YT isn't there? smile I am creating a painted Cardinal card that is challenging to say the least. It has taken me longer than I would like but I have been under the weather and find it difficult to create when I have sinus issues due to looking down all the time. hahaha Well, I know you will do a great job on the Wedding project. Blessings to you.

You will have to bear with me on making many comments here. I learned from someone that edited comments do not post correctly so that channel artist suggests making new comments rather than editing. I just had to tell you that your crackle paint hinges are gorgeous. It is all those little detailed touches that make your artistic pieces so incredible. I am also a "slant person". I like the added interest caused by not having everything precisely straight. Some great minds like things that way, but I like to mix-it-up! For example, if I have matching colored totes, I mix the bottoms and the tops so that each individual tote has one colored bottom and a different colored top. I guess I see the world differently. I do not conform on some things. I guess it is an area where I defy perfectionism, though I am definitely a perfectionist. Does that make sense? I think there will be many comments of mine, but your 54 hours of work deserve many comments. My dad called me "windy" for a reason. Good thing I am not there to talk out loud. LOL

Hi Donna. I am finished dinner and so tired I can hardly keep my peepers open. haha I was crafting earlier and had to stop because my thinker was drained and I was making mistakes. I know when to cut the lights and call it a night. hahaha I don't mind you commenting at all. I am delighted you enjoy my work. I hear you on conformity. I have always been one to not follow trends. I guess it helps me not feel as much stress trying to create like this person or that person. It makes the process too stressful. If I just go with my own instincts it always takes the stress away and I feel better about my work. I totally understand where you are coming from. smile Have a super week my friend. Thanks for the chat.

I am so glad that you made this album your own by adding lace, pearls, etc. You have your own style and I think you need to keep that no matter that you are using Clare's (I have no idea what way she spells her name) excellently laid out album design. I agree that the paper is beautiful. I have gotten very into vintage and Shabby Chic of late and I also like lavender. I hope I get better at the ink edging that you make look so simple to do. I recently invested in some inks so I am learning. Everything takes practice. You are not able to do it all automatically just because you purchased a product. I will need to practice on scrap paper a lot before I edge the papers I use for my first project. Even then using papers that I have a lot of would be wise at first. I am so thrilled to be watching this album development. I am thinking I might possibly be able to create an album sometime now. If I do I will check out My Creative Spirit for sure.

Hi Donna. Clare is an extraordinary teacher. She makes the process so easy to follow. You will love her work. Thanks for the encouragement and for you kind compliments all the time. It sure is nice to know you enjoy my tutorials Donna. You don't have to give it much thought when you slide the ink over the paper. hahaha The more it slips off the sides the more vintage it looks. hahaha Have a nice evening.

Thanks for teaching me how to make my own inked paper with a stamped image resist. I just invested in a bunch of inks...five oxide and a set of small, archival ink pads. The latter will allow me to use different colors of stamped text or small images on my mixed media. I do have about four of the regular distressed inks with reinkers from long ago too. I will have to experiment with blending the various inks as you did. You make it look so easy. I suppose I could do the same thing with embossed, small, text stamps too when appropriate. I have been trying art journaling now while sheltered-in. Things are really no different for me except that I do not check my mail daily here in the apartment complex anymore. I check it about every 8 to 10 days. I am not risking exposure if at all possible. I still shop once every two weeks, but my medical appointments are now by phone and I have canceled the lesser essential ones. I wish there were not those that are complacent about COVID19. I guess they are everywhere but the streets, I am told, have far less traffic and the grocery stores have far fewer people. I see the complacent ones walk past my window numerous times a day without seeming to care about the others in the apartment complex. I guess they just can't be cooped up or need to check the stores several times a day to see what is back on the shelves. I guess it makes them less fearful. Hard to say.

Living in the country is nice because it limits the number of people around. There are people on bicycles going by but I am not bothered by that or those that are out for a walk with their dogs. smiles The sun and fresh are is good for us. I could use a nice walk but I'm so tired I would have to have hubby pick me up to take me home as I wouldn't last long. hahahaha You take care of yourself and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. God Bless

Good evening Tricia. You are so funny. I totally understand the segment idea however. I watch them before posting to YT in case there is an error or something in it that I need to fix. hahaha I often think how I can make them shorter, but as of yet I haven't figured that one out. hahaha You are so kind with your compliments and it encourages me so much. I am painting a floral canvas today and should have it up soon. I changed gears for the practice. hahaha Have a Blessed week my friend.

Hi there Donna. What a blessing hearing from you this evening. I know this is a long tutorial and I had to just let the time not bother me and place it up trusting that in time people would have the time to view it in small segments. haha I am glad you are joining me. It is time to begin dinner, but I will return to finish answering all the friends that took their time to view and comment. smiles Be back soon my friend. I am feeling quite well as I created and that was wonderful. I am delighted to be designing for Clare and hope in time I will feel confident with designing Albums to showcase her beautiful products. Take care of yourself. Be back after dinner. smiles

I still have 40 minutes or so to watch, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. Amid watching your video I worked on steps to my art journaling project and let it dry on its own in between. I much prefer that if I am patient enough to do so since I am not sure that inhaling heated products is always the best even though they are non-toxic and acid-free. I still have some final ephemera that I want to add to my project and may add a little more coloring too. I just am not sure yet. That too will wait until tomorrow. I want to keep reading my murder mystery this evening since I fell asleep reading last night. Have a good evening, my dear friend! Thanks for sharing your truly magnificent album. I am now thinking about getting a fuse tool. I will have to evaluate whether I would use it enough though. I am not an album maker and I think I am currently content to stay with the art I do. I need to return to some scrapbooking for a time and I would like to keep on with my mixed media art journaling. It is my something new. It will be a challenge for you to showcase albums....something new for you too!! I know you are always up for a challenge though. May the Lord keep you and your hubby and family and friends safe. Hugs and smiles.

Good evening Darlene. How sweet of you to be so kind. I am trying to use up the stock I have around so some of it doesn't have names on it especially if it came from second hand stores. hahaha I will go and find the name of the acetate for you. I think that they had names because some of them weren't open yet. If you have any three ringed acetate from dollar stores it would work as they would be thin and great for this. I have to go and look up all the products to place on my Blog later. I appreciate you dropping by. I will certainly send you the link if I can find it. I bought those so long ago, but that doesn't mean they are still available. smiles Have a great week.
