This story is more depressing than funny. There are more working class individuals in the world that will unfortunately never obtain a house in the current market with the current wages and the wealth gap has only gotten larger.

They don't own this house though. They're renting, more over they're splitting the rent between 5 ppl (possibly more?) while offsetting their living costs with tax refunds since they also all work from home. From what I've seen, streamers downsize significantly whenever they can't live in a content house anymore. If you're using this specific example as a point, then you're barking up the wrong tree imo

I think the real point is to want an economy that doesn’t treat delivery drivers like balls and not pay them enough so they’re jealous of your house. Maybe if they had their own house on their salary you wouldn’t feel so guilty about you not working and having everything and that guy working his ass off for pennies.

Raising the wages for low-skill jobs will just raise the prices of everything and put the lower-class back to square one. Can't take swipes at capitalism if you don't even really know how it works
