We have a new car. Super Asurada AKF-11 (AKF Double One) is direct upgrade from the SA-01/C which optimizes speed in exchange for handling. Consider the car's a drifter, it is more good than bad for us.
We head to San Marino, Italy, for the 4th race. San Marino is one of the more complex circuits. There's a lot of low speed corners and a lot of gravel traps. There's one short straight that is marked as a boost zone by the AI, but I don't boost there because it is better be used at the end of the track with the very long left steep bank, which is long enough for two sessions of boost. Overall, you need to master the handling to get through the track.
San Marino is where the AI starts to get serious as Shoemach is restless in this race. Despite doing considerably okay, we comes home second as the Supersonic Knight becomes a world champion contender.
There's a spare time to get into the 5th race. The British GP at Postbridge Airport Short tests your ability to maneuver your car's top speed through tight street circuit complexes. Some of the corners can be very hard to tackle if you don't use brake, and you have to be careful not to use brake too much since it can slow you down as much as hitting the wall.
As usual, we qualifies first with Shoemach second. We are approaching the climax of the 11th CF grand-prix session.
