One of the most fun courses I used to play was a group of neighbors on a small island in the Puget sound, in the middle of a vineyard, they built a 9 hole.....if the greens were shaggy, you'd go get the mower and clip it, if the hole was bad, you got the tool and moved it.....if the fairway was too tall, you got the mower and mowed it down. Saturday morning work crews (neighbors and friends) all showed up, picked a hole and groomed it, then everyone played a a few rounds.....for free of course......it was awesome.

Potential, lots of Potential!!! Putting the bunker in shouldn't be that difficult, but yes you are going to move your drainage. I worked on a course with heavy saturation. We installed an enormous amount of drainage (75-90 yards) on a hill that split between two holes. It was originally planned to be native grass and automatic drop if your ball landed in it. The water no longer sat in one place it dried up and regular grass took over. Drainage is a life saver if you have a lot of water. Therefore, you might need more drainage to your current green.
