I like hearing the "Lord Gizmo" regular announcer use his regular voice, much more professional than the exaggerated cadence he normally used. Good job! Nice change!

Thanks! I'm trying to get into a more natural method of reading, it's taken a long time to get into it. I guess it just happens after 2 years of so many readings lol

Nice animation of the LR1400 SX. I particularly like the shot that shows the LR 1250.1 designation on the side of the cab! I wonder if they have actually built one yet.

I’ve never worked on a jcb that I thought was a good piece. But I’ve only been a mechanic for 30 years

JCB have been in front of machinery technology. Hydra digger was a first digger. That when Ford where the power unit. Designed the JCB 1 early 60s first mini digger. The 3c range was good. Engine issue for Ford BMC now Perkins. They where the first in tracked loader 110 loader. The 360 range where a bit out of their depth. Lot of 6c. Hymac kicked in then early Cat others followed leaving JCB behind, 7 & 8 where slow problematic booms break. They did have reach of 27' dig, no other machine had that reach. The 3cx to light like all machines now. I think the JCB X levers on back hoes was the best. I wrote to Bamford way back early 70s with a new design for back hoe. Remove the rear wheels and add a half track in stead, using something like the 110 steer. Yes I know they were finger trappers and bluster makers on the finger. Heard nothing back from them. I don't know why others haven't tried that design, a lot of machines now half track.

@7:20 why the c/s is wider only for a short span ,not at base hinge or midsection but somewhere odd noncentric offset .

Sorry.. The Volvo L-20 can not float on water.. The wide tyres are to aid flotation on soft flooded ground... As I said before.. ( this time I won't repeat myself)

The bad thing about the remote rollers no eyes on so if an error is made it not properly programed to fix it were as a hands on operator could catch it and fix it instead of having to redo the whole rd but cool so 50 / 50 human and technology works best

Either you were unaware that outside science and engineering circles, the average layperson in the United States no-speakee-de-metric system, or you just don’t care, or it wasn’t your intent to grow this channel or expand your audience, viewers, or subscribers, but whatever the explanation I think there’s no question it will be a hindrance to growth, and probably alienate, if not openly insult, people in the United States.… Much of the impact of the narration is lost if The viewer doesn’t have an instinctive knowledge of what 175 m means as compared to their instinctive knowledge of 500 feet for example. Regardless of a person’s s opinion about whether this state of affairs is good bad or indifferent, lodging protest that by excluding quantitative specifications converted to English, or imperial weights and measures will render its own punishment, so to speak. Potential audiences will only tolerate so much insult before they just walk away, no matter how attractive they find the subject matter to be otherwise. I really don’t know why I continue to do these cross cultural social media consultations for free… I’ll stop doing that some day, I guess.

Hi, We put BOTH measurements in the captions. This will show you the conversion units. We use whatever units the manufacturer provides as the basis for our script. Take it from the script reader (American), it's not something I intrinsically have a feeling for. I have started the push to put both in the captions specifically for that reason.
