Is there a particular weapon that can be forged or farmed that has inheritable CCD? Trying to roll it reforging is errrr.... well not so easy.

Doesn't matter which one. If you have 99 in both, then the increase in attack value will be identical. I'm not worried about PVP, probably will never play it. I'm in Australia and any pvp that is peer to peer with a precision timing game like Nioh (or For Honor, for example) will be unplayable for me, sadly.

You need 3 pieces of the set to get the CCD, but Red Demon's 3rd piece would have had to have been armor or the spear, which would have taken away from the other sets. Yatagarasu gets it uniquely from the rifle, hence it doesn't take away from any of the slots the other armor sets require. In other words, adding Red Demon would reduce the CCD you'd get.

I haven't seen that kind of damage before, but I've seen close, so yeah, I can imagine that's more than possible with a kingo's/iga mix.

Mark Stuart If you want the bow you can find loads late game, or you can complete the mission "Invitation from the Warrior of the West" and hope Muneshige drops one. Alternatively, this is also how to get the Smithing Texts for the Warrior of the West Armour, Bow and Set Sword (Nami-oyogi Kanemitsu), allowing you to make your own versions, meaning you can make a Divine item as opposed to hoping the one that drops is good enough

Hi Dale, my apologies , I did have it unlocked and I have since gotten the Smithing text for the bow to drop.

Sorry, but if you don't already have it you can't get it from a Revenant. The way to tell if you can get it is to go to the blacksmith and see if you can forge it. If you can't, then I'm afraid that means you can never get the set.

Ok thanks for the information and try making an all projectile based build using the Iga ninja set and perks that focus on damage from behind and projectile damage, and go for everything that adds unlimited ninjutsu and ninjutsu power. You can stack a lot of damage from ranged attacks and if you use the shodowround talisman and the guardian spirit that returns items you'll have infinite kunia and shurikans

Yeah, I've seen those build videos. It's a pretty funny build when you can just throw shit and never have to even unsheathe your sword!

Yes, if you're close to an enemy CCD will apply regardless of your type of attack.

Change to Atk Skill does exist. Have one on my Lightning dual swords (I'm not spending 15 fucking minutes trying to spell the name). BUT...strangely, when I put a change to atk heart on another pair, they came out stronger than the CTA Skill. Don't get it. I always thought that you made the scaling change according to the stat with the highest original scaling. The Lightning dual swords (with the CTA Skill) even have a higher atk multiplier, yet show a weaker atk value than the other (CTA Heart). Any ideas why? Thanks Fuzzy. Cheers!!

Wow, that's an old revenant. I haven't had Kingo's gear on for days (I've been testing different combo's with A Master Swordsman).

Are you level 650++ now sporting some Armor Of the Exceptional (Shima Sakon's) gear? I fought that last night DAAMN what a tough revenant. I have a Master3/Tate1/WotW3 at level 250 looting at Marobashi but it is not as easy/fast as how you do in your video. I have to watch your video again to see what I am missing.

@@fuzzybearbarian update: i tested it out for weight reduction on all pieces, and even with 99 of strength and stam i could only get 44% which means im still stuck at B agility.

@@k.krazael4037 Hmm. This build already has 99 strength/stamina and without any weight reduction perks on armor it's already at 44% B agility. So if you have weight reduction perks on all armor pieces then the weight reduction mustn't be counting at all for some reason.

@@fuzzybearbarian i remember the first time i got all the equipments it was 66% i believe, and that is 99 strength stam without the weight reduction perk.

My suggestion would be to reroll but then save those 11 points just in case you find kato isn't working as well for you as kara-jishi. I say that because if you're rationing 11 points then it might be that you're also rationing other core stats, meaning you might have lower attack than me and therefore might benefit from kara-jishi more. Test Kato and if you find you do need kara-jishi more you can just put those 11 points back in.

Fuzzy Bearbarian oy, fuzzy bearmen! I found Kato is not so good for meh! Kara jishi increases my dmg much more. I can take out the first 2 marobashi guys on Ng+ with 1 shrike and 1 final blow using water talisman plus Carnage at 1940 atk. Kato gives me a good 10% less dmg I do not know why I really like Kara jishi! thanks for the recommendation!

Yes, I've just done a ton of testing and kara-jishi out performs kato in everything EXCEPT the very first skill strike of anything. After that though, kara-jishi will add enough damage on its second strike to match the total damage output of kato at that same point in the attack run, and then beyond that kara-jishi will rule. This is true even for shrikes as kara-jishi will kick in mid way through the 2nd swipe of the shrike and will also apply its damage buff to the final blow damage on the downed opponent, making kara-jishi win in all circumstances EXCEPT the very first strike on the very first enemy.

Fuzzy Bearbarian that is really good info! I can appreciate Kato constant good dmg but if karajishi needs just one skill dmg to proc it's temporary atk buff I'll take it. I suppose it boils down to if you use regular attack combos which will utilize Kato much more but like I always either wind storm or sotc so Kara is my boy plus the heal is so nice when I torii gate I can save my 960 elixirs! :)

I'm with you man. Kara-jishi is my fav since doing all this testing. It's unambiguous for me since I always use skills, at least, I do 99% of the time. Tengen is next in line but since to get its attack perks requires high stance and also use of extraction talismans, Tengen is too much hard work for me, particularly when in my tests the perks it gives don't overshadow kara-jishi 99% of the time too.

Nope, never. I've always known level doesn't matter as much as a lot of people think it does, so I've always just worked with whatever points I had whenever playing around with builds or just playing the game. My level is purely from playing and grinding to get gear for builds. By the time I get to 750 I'll be able to honestly say I got there without ever once farming amrita :D

Wow that's crazy haha, it is very true though that the gear/build is way more crucial than level. I guess I'll just keep farming for the right gear and let the level naturally progress

Honestly, I've never farmed amrita, so my leveling has come entirely just from playing around with builds. But if you really wanted to level fast, I'd probably just farm the hell out of the highest mission you feel capable of doing the fastest, with as much amrita earning perks going as you can get. You can get 300K+ amrita minimum from Tea-Time Entertainment, and I can complete that mission in about 10 seconds flat. If you can kill Nue and the bird quickly, that's about a level every few minutes. Hyakki Yagyo is similar and since it has more enemies you can pop Saisetsu-shin's Sake too and get many millions of amrita in about a minute flat.

Yeah. Kusa is my second favorite weapon. It was probably an equal favorite of mine until they nerfed blade spin. Now that blade spin uses more ki, I find I don't enjoy playing with it as much anymore. So yep, dual swords for me now.

This one as it is the most close combat damage you can get from combining armor sets. But if you read the description, the Warrior of Paralytic Confusion and Warrior of Poisoned Confusion builds can do more damage than this build, but obviously they rely on proccing confusion, electrification and also paralysis/poison to do so.

Carnage Talisman is the main magic buff used here, and it was nerfed in patch 1.06, so this video is after that. However, since this video Patch 1.10 decreased the damage of Windstorm and Windstorm II too. Also, in July 2017 I think it was, Team Ninja nerfed levels. They're back up now as you progress through the game, but I think my level in this video was close to 390 or 400 or so, whereas you might be a lot lower than that earlier in the game now. Apart from all that I don't think anything else has impacted it, and the nerfs apply across the board so every type of build is affected by them no matter what. Also, bear in mind that stacking close combat damage like I do in this video isn't necessarily the best way to go. You're better off keeping anything stacked to below 40% and stacking something else. I prefer a perfect balance of skill damage on my weapon if I have close combat damage stacked on my gear. That way you don't suffer diminishing returns on your damage output like you do if all you do is stack one type of damage. Fuzzy Bearbarian thank you so much for such a detailed answer. Im actually on way of the Nioh at level 315 or so (99 skill and heart). I get about 2000 damage with one sign of the cross, so I dont know whats going on. Ill check out that other video and try it out. Thanks a lot!!

Ah, if you're at Way of the Nioh then the Sennin build is the best way for you to proceed. Once you have your Yasakani and move to Way of the Wise I recommend you use 4 piece Tatenashi and 5 piece Oyamatsumi. With that you can use dual swords or a katana (I prefer the katana with the current patches as it has a ton of perks particularly Flowing Shadow, which is a skill that cleans up and hasn't been nerfed like Windstorm). The easiest way to get this set is to run the Abyss gauntlet but you only need to go as far as floor 24 to the Oyamatsumi pieces on your 5 other pieces of non Tatenashi gear. It is a bit of a grind to get it (save scumming is really the only way to do it effeciently). But if you're already rocking the Sennin build then it's just a few extra pieces to add to make yourself pretty strong and more than capable to go right through Way of the Wise safely and right through the Abyss to level 999. How far are you into the game? I probably wouldn't farm it if I were you. I'd look at something more like my Sennin build, because otherwise you'll do all that effort only to find you probably need to change your build pretty quickly...

Ah right, still pretty early. Yep, just play around however you like at that point. Once you get to Way of the Wise you'll be wanting to fine tune the build you go with (I recommend Sennin for Way of the Wise). And in Way of the Nioh you'll want a mix of Tatenashi/Oyamatsumi set. But until then, you can pretty much go with what you like (though Tatenashi is great for survivability in all NG's).

This is a common problem. Here's the solution: 1. Click on the Bell icon in the top right. 2. Click the Settings icon (the gear icon). 3. Under "Channel subscriptions" click "Manage all subscriptions" This will show you all your subscriptions. 4. Click on the bell next to the subscription you want to manage how you get notifications. From there, you can update how to get notifications for that subscription. Hope that helps!

It's all of that. Level doesn't affect anything other than it's a reflection of how many points you've put into your core stats. Your core stats affect the damage scaling of your weapon and the overall affect of your buffs, but from there the rest relates to how well you've stacked different damage types across your overall build.
