1.4.4+ speedrun, glitched, unseeded, moon lord
holy fuck
bast was good. still some timesave in getting wood and some iron. honestly though the run was over. bulb found in reasonable time. my worst mistake was not picking up the king statue to teleport the guide.
but sub 15 minutes, eh? crazy.
this also conveniently doubles as a zenith speedrun, at 9 minutes on the dot which is pretty cool.
this run broke me, over 30 hours of raw gameplay, and ive finally done it.
guess its time to do glitchless :)

@@user-rs8di5do7n I didn't deny that, Sir. My analogy still stands up proudly, since robbing banks without getting caught requires even more skill than having an honest job. But still.. We're talking about separate things. Playing the game honestly is one thing, permaexploiting is another thing. The game shouldn't allow this kind of shit anyways, so we could blame the developers, but they can't do much if there are so many people creating content of this type. Idk m8, in my head not playing by the standard rules and exploiting is just pathetic, doesn't matter how an individual is good at it. I'm not saying that my opinion is absolutely right like some sort of law, just wanted to explain my PoV, which can be debatable

i see lot of people saying i have this thousand hours and all achievements when seeing technical stuff of this game, like does it mean "hey I'm kinda good at this game" or smth? i have less than 150 hours and all achievements except golden food thingy, i know most things about this game cause i went ham on wikis and stuff before playing, also did first play through on hardest difficulty cause i thought if my first impression is at its hardest it won't feel hard.

it's incredible how conveniently placed some item IDs are for the statue glitch, golem altar and summon + mech bosses summons + moon lord summon + endgame equip like wings and insignia + zenith + random stuff like shellphone and rod of harmony, I really hope we get a plantera summon item in 1.5 the one boss with no summon is also the one with the most drops 💀 congrats on the insane run and achievement!

it makes sense from a programming stand point I guess. you group stuff together at time of development, or like progression, so would make sense that the endgame stuff would be close by as well as the summon and altar for the golem, because the function for the summon would just be item[altar] and item[altar+1]

i just love how the underground desert, normally such an irrelevant area in regular playthroughs (at least, it is in mine), became such an important part of speedruns. like, so much of the materials for the transmutation glitch are from the underground desert, and the scarab bombs looked super helpful for you too

Personally, I always stop by to get fossils! The enemies down there and the cactus traps are such a nightmare that it's almost not worth it so I get why most people don't bother with it, but for me the baby dino is worth it :)

I always go down there after like eoc to get ancient chisel. It genuinely makes up for the time you spent looking for it by letting you blitz mining

Honestly that always the first biome i go mining and exploring. Its quite a challenge but the loot is very good.(fossil for pickaxe, bast statue, ancient chisel, magic conch)

Tbh the ocrams razor transmutation is the smartest thing i have ever seen for the mech bosses and the fact that you were able to set the glitch up that fast was amazing. Congrats on the time my dude :)

This brings me back to an old glitch with old gen consols. There was an update with a bug, i dont remember the conditions for it but it was incredibly easy, where every time you reopended the game, item ID and stack number would switch (maybe it was piggy bank items?) And you could just buy a pumpkin seed which had been added that patch, switch it to a stack of like 1800 pickaxes and remove pickaxes from the stack until it was the same value as the item you wanted, and bam, any item you wanted in the game pretty much (at the time)

I vaguely recall this, I don't recall exactly how it worked but I remember ending up with a bunch of random garbage at one point, and also shit like Red's Wings and other weirdo shit, I think it was from like, couch coop piggy banks or smth, I remember it in conjunction with couch coop duping, which was super silly

ok you go explore, dig a bunch, blow stuff up, do the bast statue glitch, something with wires that i dont even kno whats going on it looks like the wood starts breaking itself but tis still there, then you have loot up to and including post moonlord, you go to hell, make a tiny house for the voodoo doll then drop it, slice the wall of flesh like it's the wall of butter, summon all three mech bosses and destroy them just as easily, teleport around the jungle, destroy the plantera bulb, plantera herself and the golem in one go, the moon lord awakens and you kill it easily too

solar flare amour is timeave because you get damage bonus and can tank the enemies. the moondial + others is nessesary to fight other bosses the golem alter is nessesary to fight golem

Oh the transmutation glitch also called philosopher stone or smth if you wanna know how it work just watch a proper video but here's a resume : Basically the game store item by id meaning that idk the id of the zenith is 365 (random numb) and the door we have is the id 99 then you have to move the number to actually be 365 giving you the zenith Ik for people who know is a very rough explaination of the glitch but it's the best way i can think of for people who don't know this glitch also this glitch will be patch in the next update

So far I have only seen you go into the desert and comments saying how they have no idea what’s going on so based on those two things I am going to assume that you are going to used that method where you grab a bast statue and do funky stuff to somehow get either a zenith or terrablade (can’t remember which pretty sure it’s zenith but then again not completely sure) I will update this comment after I finish the video to see if I’m right Edit: I was right! And you had the option to get both weapons plus more which is cool to see my memory working (if only I could remember useful things and not Terraria glitches that would be great)
