Of course MPL PH Production Team. Make a better stage, lighting, camera. Just don't hesitate to learn from MPL ID and MY which have better production teams.

Reasons why I agree with Chickn: 1. Best English caster - Mirko 2. Better camera movement (in-game) 3. More special interactions (guests, pros, org members, etc.) 4. The league is more balanced. Can't blame Bren for being the strongest, but Indo teams have better chances to win. 5. The strongest (PH) player transfers to new teams change the dynamic of the team, giving individual players a brighter spotlight. Can't dispute it. Indo production is just better.

I'm from Ph and I have to side with Fwyd on this one. This whole thing escalated just by taking chicken's words out of context. Also it was really unnecessary to rub on the audience's faces on how we won the past 4 M-Series or how Fwyd is irrelevant in the international scene. That has absolutely nothing to do with our production issues. It felt as if they were firing an attack back to Chicken rather than taking it as constructive criticism

What FWYDChicken said was spot on, in entertainment wise, MPL ID is so much better compared to MPL PH. MPL PH teams play is about winning, which is not wrong but as the neutrals of course they'll find it boring since they seek for entertaining matches, they may have won many internasional tournaments but no one really gives a damn except their own country. Their job is to come up with interesting scripts, stories or any content related stuff to boost their viewership. Gameplay is not their job (for whoever who wants to say MPL PH focus more on gameplay). - Since Season 8 till now, MPL PH average viewership drop from 182k to 96k. That's almost 50% loss. Meanwhile, MPL ID are able to maintain steady numbers of 450k average viewers. In Season 12, that number rose to 520k. - MPL ID are also able to maintain a decent amount of sponsorship because of their steady viewership. MPL PH number of sponsorship however are getting lesser because there's a chance these brands would not want to sponsor an event that has a decreasing amount of viewership. Sponsorship and viewership do go hand in hand. Acquiring sponsorship are also part of production role. Low sponsorship = lower budget/lower production quality. - Being the strongest region do have its advantages. However, MPL PH fail to capitalize on that leading to a drop of viewership.

Great translation DJY! this vid is really meant for the PH fans like me for clarification on the misquoting done by the MPL PH production on their show. I really find it very odd why MPL PH production did that on their show. Probably a way to add spice or entertainment but not really in a good way. The difference between mpl Indo and mpl ph is the players in mpl Indo are good at individual skills and they often show it for mpl ph their game plays are usually dry and they just do what they need they don't make many mistakes. Mpl ph also uses mechanic but mpl ph is better when u analyst the match and check the strategies, mechanic and macro. As for me I like both but usually I watch mpl Indo but I analyst and watch pH too. In my opinion the main reason is mpl Indo players make many mistakes and show their micro which is more entertaining and for pH they don't make big mistakes and they usually fight in objective only

For me, Chicken did nothing wrong he just expressed his opinion. Now, for that matter, regarding how MPL-PH is boring, it is kind of true, because c'mon guys, did you all expect the current TNC, Minana, or OMG to beat APBren, ECHO, RSG PH, Blacklist or Onic? Like you already know the match-up, regardless of the outcome, like 2-0 or 2-1. That's why it's getting a little stale, and in the context of Mirko, he said that there are some games that are stale like low tier teams or mid tier teams playing like when he skip to stream game 1 of MPL - PH because he already know the outcome regardless of the score and he was right 2-0 for the side of RSG against TNC. The end of the match segment is kind of cringe but bearable, or like the end of a game (Ex. Game 1 ended, and the talking on the fans segment) segment after the analyst or the casters do their thing and go to the hype girl like Mara and her Co-hype (forgot his name) that is where the cringe is and kind of boring most of the time.
