That looks like a fantastic production facility, the cleanliness of the work areas tells a lot about their overall philosophy on quality control which is the cornerstone to accuracy.... This video makes me want to sell off a couple of my center fire guns and buy this quality air rifle!! I was about to get out of pcp and into top end springers. Its just too complicated with the pumps, tanks, houses.... But then I found out about the fx independence 😍. Its an expensive gun but wow - it's the perfect hunting setup

Great FX...

Another awesome vid as usual Matt, but appears to be a little like damage control by FX maybe? Seems the whole point of the vid was to demonstrate the QC processes at the FX factory and put to rest the increasing concern by some of their customers due to accuracy issues. My new Impact had to be sent back and have a lot of work done by the dealer in order to maintain any group; luckily I was not part of the seal leak batch. All point to QC at the factory. I have to agree that FX is clearly on the forefront of innovation and precision engineering. The machining on these guns are as clean as I have ever seen, and the tolerances are incredible, compared to anything else I own. But the buck doesn't stop there. Whichever group(s) are in charge of final assembly and testing, are simply letting down the rest of their team. They can, and should, do better. All of those expensive CNC machines are funded by us end users and more care should be taken to assure that revenue stream keeps coming in.

It's fascinating that FX Airguns is probably Sweden's finest weapons manufacturer despite not "really" being in the weapon industry due to the strict weapons laws in Sweden. We should be really proud of what FX Guns have achieved.

I purchased my Impact at February, 2017, and received it on June 28, 2017. I shoot and test it on the next week and find that the power wheel isn't working, it gives the same FPS from min to max. I had a very hard time return to the distributor, beware!

I have an FX Royale 500, maybe you can help with a regulator related question: I am getting a larger ES than I expected but then the rifle is still very new (less that 600 shots) and I have been shooting in cold (-5 to +5 degrees C) conditions. How many shots would you think are required before the rifle is broken-in and what ES would you expect for the FX 500? Thanks. Hank

I'm not sure about zips but I don't think those guys invented smooth twist barrels. Didn't Ben Taylor, previously of Theoben sell them the design?

Two Impact came to my country in South America, including shipping and taxes each one of them cost almost us $ 4000. One of them don't group and the other have a catastrophic regulator leaking. So where is the millions dollars technology ? Air Arms, Dark Bull, Kalibrgun, Airgun Technology are good pcp have them and use them for years and never ever fail.

Hello Matt can you give your opinion about the Benjamin Armada air rifle?

Question does FX test .22 Cals using new 25 grain pellets or 25 Cal using 34 grain pellets because they offer a greater BC than 16, 18 (.22 cal), 25 grain (.25 cal)? If not then most will require rifle adjustment to get the best bang for the buck. As for the quality control, I know you have seen 100's of people complaining about quality control of the impact, so that should no just be dismissed as user error. I know the number is really small on average of entire sales but acknowledged even Ernest said there where/are issues. I know I had some issues with my impact upon purchase that had to be either AOA or FX's doing, My barrel was never fired by myself and yet the barrel was stuck in the gun due to shooting with the knob not proper secured while test firing.

You should've snagged one of those flawed stocks for hunting.

I have both the Impact 25 cal and the Streamline 25 cal. I would like Matt to compare those two with the Crown. Three flashy high performance cars in the driveway might invoke criticism. Is the Crown meant to replace both, fit in the middle, or what?

I have one question.. Where are the older workeres on that factory??? They are young people everyone exept the owner.

Fx looks like a great product but unfortunately in the U.K. Some of the guns imported just don't deliver the quality you'd expect. One well respected dealer stoped selling the impact due to something like 90% of customers returning them due to faults . The same dealer has just sent all his fx streamline gun back due to very poor quality finish

I've never been to Africa but have seen numerous KZfaq videos watching lions and leopards attacking wildebeest, warthogs, etc. I see you guys walk through the bush after these animals with no apparent concern for the big cats. Are they not as prevalent in South Africa? What about poisonous snakes? Curious to know. Cheers. TJ

I'm skeptical about barrel designs like this. Not particularly the barrel, but the way its mounted. It appears flimsy. It appears like it'll easily get bent from its mounted. The entire length of barrel and no brace at all seems to have a weak point where it's mounted.
