game looks awesome! maybe add some physics based destruction of ships? that would be amazing. like shooting off the shipmast to immoblize the ship.

It would be awesome to have different AI ship behaviors and make it so you can tell which behavior a ship has by simple details visible through a looking glass. For example if an AI ship has a lot of visible treasure on board it will attempt to evade the player and avoid combat but give a lot of loot, or maybe if the ship has marks of repair it could be more aggressive
