To clear a few things up: - **THIS WAS DURING THE PLAY TEST, BUT THE UPDATE IS OUT NOW!!** - The rifle costs 400 francs, heavy sabre 500 francs, and horse artillery pistol 2800 francs. Overall, it will cost 3700 francs to get all of the new weapons - The Kingdom of France and Residents of Kentucky regiments are for alternative gamemodes - Why was the map called "Moscow"? It's a joke, and the map is actually Copenhagen (it's a joke from the devs). Edit: it's now properly called Copenhagen - I apologize if the footage was trash, I recorded this when there was like 10 minutes of the play test left - I didn't showcase the sledgehammer, M16A4, surgeon equipment, arming sword, pike, sword & shield, and many more items I may have forgotten because they are already in the game or have been featured on one of the dev's youtube channels already with better demonstrations - If you're expecting more showcase content like this, don't subscribe 🙏🙏🙏 - Because some of you can't read, I'll be deleting comments regarding the link for the play test. Why? There's no point in asking for it since it's closed and you'll have to wait for a while for the next one. - "WHY IS MUSKET RELOADING WHILE I'M RELOADING HORSE PISTOL?!" because any reload involving a ram rod (Blunderbuss, carbine, nock, etc.) moves all ramrods on the player. Test it yourself by giving yourself a musket, carbine, blunderbuss, nock gun, and pistol, then reload the pistol and then another gun - APPARENTLY THERE'S AN UNDEAD NIGHTMARE GAMEMODE AS WELL WHICH JUST GIVES YOU A STAKE AND COLT, AND SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT IT JUST NOW

@@eddy1683 1. The residents aren't only civilians, the line infantries are just regular dudes, the officers are literal police officers and the medics are just regular medics with a pocket knife 2. It could be a replacement for the drums instead of the fife

But musicians weren't used in the 1993 military, and i dont think metal was really a thing in 1993 i dont really know, but the reason musicians are an available class in the other 2 gamemodes is because, for example, in the 1812 military they were used to coordinate a march

The rod (the metal stick you use to reload) is tge same in every firearm, thus meaning if you have two firearms like nock gun and musketand you reload one of it, the rod animation is applied to EVERY GUN

when a reload involves a ram rod, all ram rods on the player move (includes blunderbuss, nock gun, carbine, and many more, but the pistol's one is not that noticeable)

@@je_sus332 probably because in the code all the muskets weapons use the same ramrod object so when the animation plays and the game call for the ramrod object, all ramrod object that belongs to your humanoid is called. But the pistol is the execption because it has a smaller ramrod so the object has to be a new one so the call for the ramrod object doesnt effect it

Weapons like pickaxe, nockgun, rifle, handaxe, etc... Are sidegrades that changes the playstyle of the class and not a direct upgrade, so the price remains cheap as to let you spice up the gameplay but let you atleast have experience with the default classes But weapons like the double barrel pistol and horse artillery pistol are weapons that are straight upgrade compare to their default variant hence the price, as they're meant to be a reward for endgames players

It's the Horse Artillery Pistol or a double barrel carbine It's cost is 2.8k francs The left barrel is more precise while the other barrel has more penetration probably

you should see the suggestion forums in the g&b discord server. it's full of suggestions that are straight power-creep or don't fit the time period/context of the game at all. Yes, I do agree with you, people are gonna start suggesting and voting for random things to the game using the admin/joke weapons as a point, when those guns are just made for shits and giggles/a break from developing and balancing the base weapons/maps/items

seaman will still have uses even after rifle's addition because nock exists. Also, blunder still works as an excellent alternative if people can't aim, and you can't really blame them if they're trying their hardest. rifle - 195 dmg nock - 250 per pellet

No no, it's pretty fair if you think it The weapons and melee we buy (exluding DB carbibe and DB pistol) are actually a change of playstile instead of a direct updtate Carbine has fast reload but lacks damage, penetration and range, it's goof against bombers and igniters Nock gun, 270 damage per pellet, it trades the ability to use multiple times in an objective or endless wave but it can give supports to your teammates by killing those 5 zappers in a single line, of course you can choose how many pelletts to inseret but 7 is the best Pickaxe trades the penetration for a beter swing rate and damage, usefu against sappers Rifle is the reverse of carbine The utilites are utilities, siege armour is the first consumable so we it stays on till death Now we arrive at the twin DBs They aren't a change of gamestyle, instead, they are direct updates DB carbine (or known as Horse Artillery Pistol) has two barrels, the left is more precise like a rifle but has low damage, while the other is more close range Double barrels pistol is a pistol with two barrels, another direct update Change of gameplay≠Direct Update

In my opinion the new weapons are trash like the horse artillery pistol is just a carbine which is pretty bad in my opinion but double the worthless and rifle is just a useless version of a musket with no bayonet, bad reload speed (14.27 seconds), and a useless advantage which is range like range is just useless in g&b like the only thing u need in g&b is great reload speed, melee swing speed and bullet spread

I agree with the horse artillery pistol, but the rifle is just nock with a single pellet. So rifle will have a use, but only in endless and hardcore
