You have a square face, you need a triangle face for this hair cut, or an Oval... so it doesn't work as well, but very nice hair!

Hey Robin. I recommend when you slick down down your hair for these types, use the wide tooth side first. It gathers the hair and doesn't put too much tension so the hair won't spring up. Then you're able to go with the fine tooth side to get some nice lines through the hair. Good job all in all!

Never really styled my hair before until I saw G-Eazy's a few years ago. I love his style overall. This tutorial is awesome, you have great hair my friend! Mine is very curly and uncontrollable so it's a struggle to style my hair and have it maintain the look I want

hey i have thick curly hair and have never really done anything special to it, would i be able to make this hair style work, if so what will i have to do to it or will who ever i go to to get it done be able to tell me? right now i have it a bit shorter on the sides and i use smoothing cream and pull it back cause my hair tends to puff up, when it dries it kind of loses the slick look though. but when my hair grows longer i want to try this style

It would depend how curly your hair is. It might be hard to pull it off, but what works well with thick curly hair is like a pompadour or quiff. It really makes curly hair look good

My sides are to puffy, any washing products that you recommend for making my sides not puff up and just lay flat? Or any products in general. Or do i just have to work around it by cutting my sides really short.

Hey man. I've been trying this style for a while, but my pomades don't hold my hair enough. After a few hours, the hairstyle falls apart and the combed hair falls apart on right and left side of my head. I think my biggest problem might be the fact that I have a natural middle part, which is why my hair falls on the right and left after a few hours. Do you know if I should use a stronger hold or do I need to get rid of my middle part? Thanks man.

SimplyEmre depends on the pomade you use . If it's a problem you face try and find one with stronger hold . I'd go for cool grease fibre (the one G uses) it's like £15 for 210g

According to an article by hypebeast.com G-Eazy uses Fiber Grease pomade. I have a jar and that stuff is great. It's a water-based fiber pomade that washes out completely and gives that clean slick look.

+ThatManAdrian ask your barber to taper the sides and the back (maybe clipper sizes 1 or a 2 blended up to a 3.5 or 4 depending on how short you want the sides and back) and i think his haircut is disconnected on one side of the head but blended and natural on the other side (do more research on that, not 100% sure). leave the front or aka the top the same so you can slick it back like he does. it should be around 5-6 inches. for hair product he uses "cool grease fiber grease" if you want the exact same product. hope i helped.

You should try the Aussie deep treatment beach mate conditioner , it makes your hair so soft and it doesn't make your hair hard to work with .. Hope this helps !

Hey Robin I'm asian and I've shave my sides before and now it grows till its sticking out like almost 90 degree. my top has been left long. so when I do the quiff or a slick back I have the sides like sticking out and when I use product to keep them down it looks very unnatural. I dare no cut my sides again as the school I go to does not allow the undercut hair style. What do I do to keep the sides down? Great video btw! ! Cheers
