Gerald seems a lot more vulnerable and transparent these days. He's reached heights very few ever get the chance to and has nothing else to prove. It's been inspiring, to say the least, to watch his journey and see the growth. Always rooting for you man!

I was around 16 when I discovered G's music when youtube played I Mean It, right at that moment I said, this is my favorite artist ever. I investigated about his story, and what an inspiring person, currently I'm about to turn 24, and I've accomplished things I thought were impossible before, and no doubt the inspiration I got from my favorite artist during the days I was transitioning from a teen to a man had a massive impact on me. Forever grateful this person exists. Love you G

I went to his very first LA show and got to meet and take pictures with him … he even had an after party and invited everyone from the show it was wild…. What I would give to go back to that night again, definitely a core memory

He says, "It's extraordinary and - you know - I think about this all the time because it's important to keep perspective and gratitude and grounding in that - you know - you chase this thing that you fell in love with. I looked up G Eazy videos recently uploaded because I thought I saw him in SoHo 2 days ago and was tryna see if he's in the area. Yeah, now I know it was him. The crazy thing? I looked across the street and he was staring at me like maybe he was checking me out. Then I was behind him for a bit tryna figure out if It was him and I never have seen someone walk so dreamily. I went back to work and tried to forget this weird moment and probly good I didn't bother him. But damn, what if I had a chance? I'm a beautiful girl, I get checked out a ton so I guess it's possible. I think I missed my chance, folks.

So many rappers and unfortunately... white rappers especially, are often so cheesy, commercial, etc. Even modern Eminem has become so cringe... But G- Eazy was someone that I noticed immediately was different. He actually walked the walk in what he was saying, had this undeniable swagger, and a dope voice for rap. He's got the talent, had a great run, I hope he can get back to that level of stardom again, he deserves it.

I think that was his first track after long break too, so he'll probably keep putting out better and better stuff as he's getting back at it again full time but we'll see. I like the one he released about 4 or 5 months ago where video is just him rapping in a studio room in black and white, and the latest one that dropped yesterday called Femme Fatal maybe, can't remember what it's called for sure.
