Soyeon's rap in Uh-Oh , was a jab at the people who told her she wasn't idol material and she wasn't "aesthetic enough" to be an idol, but those same people wanted to give her attention when she got famous (the people in suits), " you've been looking for what shines the most, but you missed me who will light up The place", " Don't pretend that we're close, get lost".

to clarify, Dumdi Dumdi the song was only written by Soyeon. Minnie and Yuqi worked on "I'm the Trend" (Soyeon wrote her own rap). Your really need to watch the behind the scenes for Dumdi Dumdi and meet Yuqi's "duck." I am so looking forward to the new album, though IU also seems to be releasing at the same time so i may not survive into February 😅

Yes, but also the "i don't wear fancy clothes , all the clothes i wore are sold out calm down" line was about shuhua, cause she goes live on vlive a lot before and she wore the most casual clothes ever and everytime neverland tries to buy what she's wearing. She has an era when she wore green shirts also. Yuqi was amazed that anything shuhua wore even if it was so casual people are looking for it. I'm also guilty for buying some shoes and shirts😅

one thing about idle is their translation team sucks so even their music video lyrics are kinda off. for example, the "I know that i'm a successful liar" is actually meant to me something more like "I know that I'm successful, liar" as in them telling that person that they shouldn't try to suck up to them now that they're successful when before that person looked down upon them

I don't know if it's just for this video but the subs were different/wrong for uh-oh. Like it was badly translated. Not the same ones I get, at least 😅 it missed a lot of the important parts of the lyric.
