Edit: 2023 Also Soyeon on the statue can also be read as Nike, goddess of victory who Athena holds in her hand (the same place Soyeon stands in the mv). Nike is by Athena's side and brings her victory. And Soyeon even says "I raise up my label, I raise up my team" at MAMA 2023

Soyeon said her inspiration was Beyonce for this video. Never once in an interview has Soyeon mentioned Taylor Swift. She even calls out other 4th gen girl groups to support them. Soyeon ALWAYS calls out her inspirations. Like she did with Avril Lavigne in the Tomboy era, and Marilyn Monroe and Banski for nude. But sorry, not a peep about Taylor Swift.

Miyeons part reminds me of TAYLOR SWIFT too! Soyeon may have chosen Beyonce and others for reference but we can't deny the fact that it actually depends on how will a certain viewer absorbs the message of the song, right? We can think of Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, or any great woman out there but one thing is for sure, we call them "Super Lady" It's a song for women empowerment, so for me I think its just safe to think of a person like Taylor as a viewer's POV.

People need to realize that even though Soyeon didn’t specifically say she took inspiration from a taylor swift mv scene, that doesn’t make it not true. Maybe it was the director of the mv who took the inspiration, but no matter who was inspired, you can’t deny the resemblance of those two scenes. The doors opening as the camera pans in to a throne up on stairs with snakes slithering up the steps. They are definitely similar.
