언젠간 전소연이 그런 말 했던거 같은데.. 퀸덤때였나? 아이들이란 장르를 만들고 싶다 한거 같은데 진짜 그 말 해내고 있는거 같아서 너무 좋다 아이들 노래는 신곡 나올때마다 컨셉이며 의상이며 노래며 그냥 “아이들” 그 자체임 뭐라 갖다댈 말이 없음 노래만 듣다가 뒤늦게 뮤비 한껏 기대하고 보러왔는데 기대를 훨씬 뛰어넘음.. 너무좋다 진심으로

El hecho de que Soyeon sea tan talentosa, la hace aún más atractiva, luchó duro y todavía lucha contra la gente juzgándola en cada paso del camino, amo a Soyeon por ser una mujer tan fuerte y decidida. 뭔가 처음에는 비트도 그렇고 뭐지 하고 생소했는데, 들으면 들을수록 특히 후반부 슈화의 라라라라라라 파트에 중독되서 하루에 몇번씩 듣고 있네요 ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ 진짜 아이들 개성은 인정해 줘야 되네요 ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ 유스케 나가서 밴드 세션하고 합 맞춰도 잘 어울릴 듯

Jeon Soyeon ..... Already one of the best rappers in Korea at 17 after dealing one of the most brutal disses in Korean rap history to this day, while wearing her high school uniform on live television. So good as a trainee and contestant, that CUBE had her debut as one of the youngest female solo acts in Korean history at 17 with 'Jelly'. Simultaneously becoming one of the youngest female composers, writers and producers in Korean history. She did so well in her first two singles that they created a group named after her second single 'Idle song'. She then goes on to single-handedly mastermind mini-album after mini-album. Saves her group from a long-term hiatus after one of the worst injustices in K-Pop with three massive comebacks in barely 12 months. The lack of respect for this woman is mind-boggling. Considering this album as the last chance to revive (G)I-DLE, Soyeon spoke in an interview, she had to think about the future of the group, after the departure of one of them. Soyeon struggled to produce the album and write the lyrics. songs for (G)I-DLE to rank high...and be heard and for people to appreciate their music and had faith that it would be well received. When asked if she was confident enough in the success of “I NEVER DIE,” Soyeon said, “I think so. I think Soyeon is so underrated. And many people don't know that she writes and produces all the title songs and almost all the songs of (G)I-DLE and that she is also involved in the creative process. She is even breaking records.. This is such a rare phenomenon in a female female group. And may I add that you have a really beautiful voice. She is one of the best leaders in kpop.

Seriously (G) I-DLE should be in a higher place than now... they just need to be promoted more... A lot of music works both groups and individuals are not known by many people due to poor promotion...Miyeon's solo "DRIVE" success is a good example of the promotion results that have improved recently after the group was more recognized thanks to "Tomboy"

what do you expect with cube? it's not them who put a lot of effort for the group's success but the credits should be mostly to soyeon and all the producing staff who put a lot of efforts and the choreographers and also to all the members of the group who always gives their best every comeback... (g)i-dle is the 4th gen group who improves every comeback although most 4th gen groups also improve but not that often as i-dle do.... i think i-dle can be like the bts of cube ent. but it's just that cube does not take the opportunity of them being bigger than they are now... they create great music but the company doesnt promote them well... honestly tomboy promotion for me is quite short and i didn't get to see the girls in some variety shows like weekly idol or after school club... i've just noticed something common about the 4th gen leader groups straykids, i-dle and the boyz... each group mentioned lost 1 member each but it didn't make the group weak but rather makes them even stronger...

WAIT idk, i LOVE (g) idle & i loved the comeback _but sometimes this fandom get tooooo excited & start to exaggerate._ i mean, they ARE amazing & they ROCK this type of concept, for sure. *But "Queens of Versatility"???* Sadly i have to fully disagree (i'm not talking about the girls & their abilities here, ok? no hate), *(g) idle have a very specific confort zone & style, their concepts never cross a specific set line & they already have their identity to it!* They always go for the sassy, spicy & sofysticated girl power thing (you could even understand them kinda similar to Aespa, STAYC or ITZY in a way, but more spicy & sofysticated bc of the concept ideas)!!! Point is, *we can NEVER expect a Bubblegum or Extra Cutie concept from (g) idle for example... or Rock, or ballads as singles as well.* So, by facts, they are not explorers of Versatility in the industry, they are explorers of an already set identity... and that's fine. _We can LOVE them, admire & all of that, but call them "Queens of Versatility" i just don't understand!_ i rather leave that title to the groups that are actually dedicated to serve Versatility & known by that, idk.🦋 *We have so many.. like; Stray Kids, Loona, Red Velvet, NCT, Exo, Twice, BTS... etc etc.* but anyways, just my opinion on that topic/comment, nothing to do with the girls comeback specifically!LOLOL

@BacktoBlack i'm sorry but 'Dumbi Dumbi' was _not even close_ to a cute/bubblegum concept!! - _Cute & bubblegum nowadays could be "After School" by Weeekly or "Make You Happy" by NiziU._ - "Dumbi Dumbi" was in fact """"the cutest"""" we could get from (g) idle at that moment tho, and we loved it. When i said what i said i had in mind ALL (g) idle releases including their b-sides & *no,* they are not a group that embraces all genres and concepts, their releases follow their already settled identity & style.. even tho some songs add a bit of other rhythms or be more "fun" it doesn't change the fact they're in their comfort type of genre & concept (variations of Girl Crush).. Also _the b-sides & the Dorama/Pop/Rap individual releases are not consider when talking about "the group concepts"._ A Concept (alongside with genre) is the audio, visual identity and image that a group wants to express in a specific Comeback (teasers + Single + M/V) and the album (b-sides) are an extension of that, which _can or can not_ include other variations and genres!! So, you can not tell (G) idle embraces Versatility when "Versatility" means diversity of sounds/genres, concepts, image & choreography.. this is something some fans wants to believe at this point. *When we all think about a "(G) idle comeback" we already know it's gonna be something Girl Crush, fearless, with a great amount of Rap & visuals!!* We _NEVER_ be wondering if it's gonna be something different than that & even if we do, it isn't. And it's ok, it's still Elite music & one of my fav groups, that's how they're leaving they're mark!! So i'm sorry, it just seemed you carefully chose some singles & tried to classify them with your own words to fullfil an argument, _it does not work like that._ (G) idle is not a Versatile girl group in this matter yet, they're mostly out here to fullfil they're identity & call them "Queens of Versatility" is kinda of an insult to other groups that *we know* are really dedicated to bring 100% Versatility in their Music + Concepts + Choreography + Image. It just triggered me, i'm a Neverland & can easily say that out loud, doesn't make me a bad fan, just makes me fair & realistic. @@lacthocia I’m not sure what you mean. They have ballads. They may not have bubblegum cute but they have bubblegum sexy, and they have easy listening cute 🥰 (eg I’m the trend). Their sound hits the right tone when they do the variety of concepts. Therefore, they are versatile. Other girl groups just don’t take me places in the same way.

@@brianneguy I can't give the versatility title for those groups for select reasons. (BUT NOT ALL) 1.) They don't write their songs 2.) They don't do their choreography 3.) They follow what the entertainment company wants 4.) They're not part of the brainstorming process To make it short, they're not part of the preproduction of the song, so why would you call them versatile if the company itself makes it versatile for them? Some groups were part, but the ability to be part of the preprod was gradually taken away from them.

EVERY MEMBER IMPROVED TREMENDOUSLY. Idle was always known for their charisma, but this blew me away. Yuqi dancing, Shuhua facial expressions, Soyeon got even more sassier, Miyeon confiedence, Minnie singing! More people need to be aware of how good idle is

This comeback is such a perfect example of 'Fortune favors the bold'. Their entire future was depended on how well this cb did, and they could've gone the "safe" route with something gp friendly, but like always these girls always do something extraordinary and further prove why they're in a league of their own. I remember when haters were saying GIDLE will flop this comeback. Well guess what? GIDLE just achieved a RAK for Tomboy! If you don't know what that is, it means they hit #1 in ALL of Korea's major music streaming platforms. To top it off, GIDLE is the 2nd 4th gen GG to do so. Words can't explain how proud I am as a nevie. This whole era, we can feel their anger and passion in their songs bc all-if not, most of us know they've literally been through hell over the previous year and even now. Not just knevies. The korean GP as a whole! You need unique listeners to hit #1 on the Melon Top 100, so it’s not just nevies streaming but non-fans as well!! That’s what makes girl groups powerful. They tend to have more public recognition than boy groups. And if you have both public recognition AND a solid fanbase as GIDLE does, you can keep rising and experience great longevity.
