Such an iconic vehicle. Maybe one day I will chase one for a good price. Loved them on the cartoon too. Great driver as well. That 85 one with the missile system🙌

The HISS and the FANG are the quintessential Cobra vehicles, I never get tired of looking at them. I recall vividly opening my closet and seeing them in their stowed positions, ready for battle. The black and red... Excellent video, Dave C. Cobra!

Yes, they are staples. That is cool you had them in your closet like that back then. I remember pinning the 82 HAL box above my bed along with a gi.joe poster l got from the mail away fan club. And that wallet and dog tags. I hope we never forget what gi.joe means to us 😎

I got the HISS and the Dragonfly for Christmas of 83, and they were my first two GI Joe vehicles. Both of them are so iconic and representative of the line for me. Nice review.

Thank You! Yes, those two vehicles are more then just toys. Thanks for sharing your Christmas memory. It seemed every Christmas, Birthday or Easter from 82 to 87 l got something gi.joe. it is more than just a toy. Duty honour Courage. We were raised by ethics and fighting for freedom. What a decade

Enjoying this look at the HISS tanks Dave! I have 3 HISS tanks: a the 2008, the 2020 remake, and the 2021 blue on with the muddy tracks. I didn't think I'd like the blue one as much as I do. The muddy tracks are everything! Plus the blue totally pops.

Yes, l love that they just kept the same mould for the retro versions. The blue one looks deadly, l didnt open it yet - believe it or not it was hard to get were l live! I wish hasbro just kept making more retro 3.75 - 4 inch stuff because like you, classified 6 inch is not my thang. Thanks for watching. It was really fun hanging out on Stus. Yes, at a toy show way back in 2014 up here in Toronto area. More less bumped into him. I really enjoy his channel and that was my top joe channel for years.

I fixed the turrets on my old HISS tanks so the guns will hold their position again. All you need to do is pull open the control box to remove the guns, and then wrap electrical tape around the axel that connects the two guns together. If you wrap it with just the right amount and put it all back together, it works just like new, using friction.
