Regarding the amazing packaging: I think Hasbro _really_ wanted to launch their new 6" G.I. Joe line with a *bang* and knew they'd get enough orders to make it worth it. I think they were aware of the interest and the demand, and the marketing and design departments were told to go all out and start the new line with fanfare. I think they succeeded; _everyone's_ talking about this and it is a great start for introducing people into buying the new line. Thank you for the video and the enjoyable review!

The scaling for Snake Eyes is actually perfect because his height is about 5,10. Really he should be about that height so no need to worry about his shorter stature. Glad to see Hasbro is doing their research and putting in the effort for figures. Hope they can continue to do so with every other figure that they manufacture. 👍👍 Edit: Although this figure was an almost-perfect release, I still wish they would’ve released a classic Snake Eyes from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero show. But nonetheless, I won’t complain much because this figure was just 👌

Snake Eyes has always been one of my all-time favorite characters since childhood, and I find it quite unfortunate that the G.I. Joe franchise as a whole has been very dormant lately, almost extinct, so when I first knew of this figure; I was very excited. Man this figure is incredible! It's got basically everything you would want from a figure, great paint apps, sculpt, accesories, and articulation; much like an import collectible! This figure is truly badass just like the silent commando-ninja its based off of, and I'm glad the G.I. Joe franchise in terms of collectibles is now back on the map by means of a 6" figure line like Hasbro's own Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black series. Great review.

Those hips should be the new standard for all of their figures. Spider-Man especially.

I think Joes in a 6" inch scale is pretty neat, don't get me wrong, but I would love to get an updated scale in the 3.75" inch scale.

So nice to see anatomically correct articulation being celebrated! I'm sure the implementation of the waist ball joint was all your doing. I had not seen any prior reviews for this figure so my draw DROPPED when I saw the ball joint at the waist. I wish Hasbro would stop using swivels or hinges anywhere on the spine which but that ball at the bottom of the neck makes the head hinge so much more usable. But a swivel at the waist on a Hasbro figure where that isn't the only torso joint is a big surprise. Damn. This is the start of actually good articulation on mass release hasbro figures. I hope they can implement this in all their 1/12ish lines. Such a great and comprehensive review! I'm not collecting Joes but you've convinced me to get this figure just to turn into something else.

Great review, really amazing figure no doubt. If Hasbro can give such well articulated figure with so many accessories at a decent price range, why not release some Marvel Legends characters with the similar quality and range of accessories with a bit higher range than their usual figures, as a replacement to BAFs, for atleast some waves. I know Hasbro wants people to buy the whole wave in order to be able to build the BAFs but they would be paying higher amounts for the more articulated and detailed figures like this snake eyes anyway.

It's a rare weapon, especially in action figure form, but the long-handled sword is a nagamaki. This is the weapon he'll pull when Storm Shadow shows up on horseback. Dunno why else he'd have it.

I didn’t get the deluxe but I did get the General release. All black Snake Eyes is sooo sicc! I was not sure if I was gonna start collecting GI Joe’s but this review solidified it for me! I am liking this line.

Snake Eyes from GI Joe is one of my favorite characters ever and also the best and loved it how Hasbro perfectly nailed it

I believe this version is a special edition like the boba fett black series with a frozen Han Solo. The weapon display was only a convention release.

I liked the cartoon, the action figures were not compatible with what I liked but the cartoon was good. These new figures are a dream come true

Can't wait for an action force review once these are out.

Hasbro owns the IP so no licensing fees. That way they can throw some $$$ at it. Hopefully that means overall better figures.

Something to think about when it comes to quality of the Joe figures, Hasbro doesn't have to pay royalties for the use of GI Joe. Everything sold is pure profit. So they can put more effort into the detail/paint/etc... for the same price.

12:03 can you rotate the boot 180 degrees and then bend back the foot and rotate it on the rocker peg to fix that? Or is it very obviously the back of the calf?

From the video, it looks like Hasbro could have done more with painting the weapons, especially since there is a display specifically for them.

This figure looks awesome. The Katana being backwards in the sheath kinda bothers me though. If Snake eyes were to pull that out he's gonna cut his whole back side open lol

Very nice action figure. I like Snake Eyes so I’ll pick one up. But whether I get into collecting the other GI Joes in the line will depend mainly on whether this level of articulation and sculpting carries over to them. This is Hasbro ‘s first in a new line so I believe they pulled out the stops. I’m curious to see what they will do with the following figures and especially the females, like Jinx and The Baroness.

Why didn't you do the same kind of ab crunch and waist articulation on the body of your upcoming action figure?

All the other reviews showed an extra pair of hands with grappling claws in the palms. You might want to look around in that box again
