If Yagoo is CEO, A-Chan's basically #2 in the company. Like trifecta here said, her and Sora basically created Hololive and pitched it to Yagoo.

we don't really know her actual position. but according to matsuri, "she's not a manager and doesn't feel like one, she's someone much higher" the idea that her actual position being this eluded is one of her charm i'd say.

@@pandora3309 well based on their holotalk Kiara mentioned that "she is a Director" (these were Kiara's words). It could also possibly be, she's comparing A-Chan's position to a Director.

And Luna kept struggling when she joined Hololive, being the least popular in her gen for a long time, not really finding her feet until well into it. But now she recently hit 1 mill subs, and easily hit 5-8k CCV.

But also yes, there's several other stories like that in the company too. Calli and Kiara fx. have somewhat similar stories, of going to Japan to try and make it in the music scene there, Kiara as an idol, and Calli as a rapper, both of them having experienced performing at bars and stuff for literally no people at all some days, both being extremely discouraged. Hell, Kiara was basically on her way to travel back to Austria before she signed up for Hololive as her last chance. Calli had found decent success already though, and just singed up with Hololive on a whim, but ended up being very happy she did. Am I'm not aware of any really deep details, but I did check out her past life, and she was very small time, barely cracking 100 viewers most days, despite her very creative streams even back then. Kanata has a disease that's making her hearing worse over time, and there's currently no cure for it, only ways to hold it back. Over on the Holostars side of things we also have Aruran who was in such a bad spot, he couldn't even afford a proper bed, and even made it a little stream event that he and a few other of the boys went out to buy him one. And I'm sure there's plenty more too, but I didn't want to make this wall of text even bigger than it already is haha xD I know it sounds corny, but Hololive has legit saved the lives of a lot of these people. Hell, if we go back to Calli for a little bit: outside of career success, she was saved on a more emotional level. She used to be a lot more negative and down on herself, but through her Hololive activities, she's realized the worth of her work.

Also, Irys who was in the EN music branch, Hololive Vsinger EN.. also went through similar situation as Suisei, where she basically got ignored by the staff that was supposed to manage Vsinger branch.. and she went about a year with nothing happening on the music side of things, except for the music she released herself.. no 3D, no live, no concerts... Because she debuted like just weeks before HoloCouncil, they decided to merge those 2 groups together to HoloPromise. and she now falls in under the main Hololive branch, instead of being a seperate music focused branch.

​@@ZolfriedThe EnVsinger project completely died out when the manager that was supposed to be behind OmegaÆ left the company (or so i guess but it's the only explanation that made sense), which left our poor bringer Hope all alone in middle without a place she truly belong in. That why it's the best thing to possibly happen when the Council girls unofficially adopted her as a "fellow juniors below their Holo Myth senpais" group before it was even official. Many of us has started calling them CouncilRys as Irys became their additional 6th ranger. Not an official member, but she's still part of the team. It's pretty much impossible to think about Irys and the Councils separately as they made sure to include her with them as much as they could. It's a bit bittersweet that they became Promise after Sana had left cuz honestly, I'd bet it still would've happened either way but nevertheless still happy that it did and I'm sure same goes for Sana as Sana is eternal.

Cover stumbled a whole lot from 2019 to 2021, and I kinda hated them from it, but on hindsight all was done from a desire to help the talents, and they have made good use of their experience. It's kinda unfair to blame them since it's a bleeding edge kind of new business, and I have it on good faith that the staff, and Yagoo in particular, have nothing but the good of their talents in mind when making decisions. Kurosanji or Wactor on the other hand... Phase connect is cool too, vshoujo is alright.
