I just got the B1000B-1ADR which is the same as this but with black strap and its really beautiful. I'm a huge G-Shock fan with 7 other G-Shocks and this is my first MTG. Its not just the awesome build quality/looks that attracted me but also the smartphone companion app which makes time-keeping, alarm and timer setting so much easier. My other aviation G-Shock was a real pain to set-up due to its complicated button-pressing to set up the date/time.

Thanks for the great tutorial. I'm awaiting the arrival of mine (in camo, to match my Ti-Camo 5000.) This MTGB will be my first analog Casio. I love Casio's Bluetooth app...it makes setting watch functions a breeze.

It is a great piece! I had one of this model.. But i still prefer my MRG-G2000GA, it has gps function too, very accurate time keeping! :)

Uses the gps to determine where u are, and automatically align the time on ur watch

Yaa its easy to use, and nowdays people have their phone anywhere they go.. And it still has radio controlled too if u don't have ur phone.. Which u rarely leave ur phone lol

Is it possible to see the current World Time time zone by using a pusher on the watch (i.e. without pulling out the crown or using the phone app)? I have searched through the module manual but could not find anything about it.

I just got mine in the same color way. One question though. Is it better to always keep it connected via Bluetooth and will it continue to keep time if I do since the second hand will be locked at the Bluetooth indicator? I know I can use the radio signal calibration, just wondering if it's better to connect to my phone all the time or to connect when I need to change something on the fly and disconnect after

Nah.. Only connect to bluetooth of you want to change its setting... If u keep connecting to your phone, the battery might run out faster...
