i literally found the same model on a thrift store, but it's body was on its worst condition. what's left was parts of the strap buckles, and the frame and it's still beating module. I'm on my way to restoring to it's wearable form. just waiting for my parts. excited to pair it withy dad's pristine G-Shock with almost same year of issue. 96-97. Can't wait!

I remember seeing this watch in one of my skateboard magazines as a kid .. I wanted it so bad ! There were two or three different Hook-ups designs , if my memory serves me correct .. but this one stuck out the most for me ! I couldn’t find it anywhere tho! I looked for years .. had many G-shock watches growing up but this was the one I never could find! I started thinking maybe it didn’t exist and I just made it up in my own mind ! Lol ..thank you for the review and the nostalgia ! Much peace and love from Southern California ! 🤙🏻✌🏼

It's great to see a video of a vintage Gshock, a model that's nearly a quarter of a century old. It's great condition and makes me nostalgic for the old days. I remember 1997 really well and although I didn't get into Gshock back then, I still remember the watch technology of those times and your video took me back in time. Thanks for posting.
