Thank you so much for sharing! Saved me a massive amount of work! Worked like a charm. 5 hours work approximately without a garage lift. Got the same interior as you and was really conserned about ripping it all out and getting it all in, without introducing rattles our braking clips. Again, thanks a lot!!!!

Omg! YOU are the MAN!!! Thank you for sharing this hack to all of us DIYers. This will definitely save a lot of time taking all the shit out. My G12s SIB warranty expires next month they already replaced the one front, now same side rear leaking which they have to replace. If I ever have to do this on my own for other rear, I have this saved in my favorites 🙌, thanks again!!!

Thank you so much! I have the executive seating package and DID NOT want to remove all that. I have ISTA and couldn't believe the process to replace the rear struts.

How did your install go? Do you have the Bowers& Wilkins sound system? I too have the executive edition. Just curious if it was hard removing that speaker for access. Thx

@@Truth_Seeker_79 removing the speaker was very easy. Finding the nuts was the only challenge. It wasn’t difficult.

Thank you for the video! I have g12 executive seating and you literally saved my life! Just a quick question - I wanna make a precise cut arround the speaker - are they any wires in the way i can damage by cutting blindly the insulation?

Once you pull the speaker up and out of the way, the foam insulation is all that is between you and the strut tower. If I had to do it again, I would now use a razor knife (the extendable type) then make a clean perimeter cut. Even with the tearing of the insulation, there wasn’t any sound difference that I could tell.
