I agree that it's depend on tweaking . I'm a Mooer GE100 user. For me the advantage of mooer are the loop, LCD, and the mods but the DS of Mooer is not good. But you can still get drive tone by adjusting in Amps and EQ and one of the problem of the Mooer the tone change every amp you use if you have a good amp the sound is good vice versa. So I choose Zoom for me because it's has a good positive review .

how to distinguish a good pedal/amp? answer is: it already sounds good off the bat and requires minimal tweaking/settings now g1xon's dist and overdrive may sound too artificial but do put in mind that both of them react differently to the settings, that means it needs more tweaking. it is more versatile though because of the pedal arrangements and more AMPS (watch some demos it'll blow your mind esp. the modern metal sounds) but a bit pricier too! but if I'm not mistaken the patch maybe updateable, from what ive heard it's made out of engineering plastic (please research) both are good esp. mooer but functionality? g1xon's features makes up for its toy like looks mooer ge100 is just mooer pe 100 but with switches and expression pedal none the less it doesn't have a difference in its feature which is kind of dissapointing. I like mooer though

you should make a battle on G1x four and mooer ge100! By the distortion section sounded way better on ge100!

The GE100 wins the distortion contest, the Zoom for cleans. People's preferences will depend on what they want. I say get the Zoom if you already have a separate distortion or OD pedal.

Kaya ganun tunog ng distortion at cleans ng Zoom G1XON, ganyan tunog ng pedals/guitar pag walang amp (direct recording) / walang amp sim at cab sim. Yung GE100 maganda tunog, mukhang naka-on yung amp sim niya sa direct recording or by default ganun na siguro tunog nung effects model ng distortion, tunog may cab sim na. Pero maganda rin tumunog ng G1XON, solid din!

Been using G1xon for 3yrs and i have never ever used its stomp box drives as my main drive coz it sucks haha. Just aside its tube screamer drive which i use as a booster. My main drive would always come from its amp sims. Preferably the mesa boogie MK3 or BG crunch and then changing its cab sim into mesa boogie dual rectifier or bg drive for much heavier sound. Well john Petrucci is my idol that's why i was influenced to use those amp sims but g1xon's other amp sim are good as well. And my technique when performing live is to always plug into amps that does have an EFX RETURN. I don't plug into the amp's main input since on my g1xon i already have the amp that i would like to sound.

may complate pedal ako brad....chorus, metal,lead,disturtion,delay,noisegate,at clean , tuner mga pedal cla at wahh and kasama sa pedal board ko ung gxon.... pero nung na search ko sa google ung mga effect patches nila ang dami ko tunog ng mga guitarist magagaya kaya ung pag tutugtug ako ang naka on nlng ung gx1on,tuner,wahh pedal,at ung huli papunta sa guitar ung noise gate para wala sya ingay....ung patches sa google ng gx1on madami dun pwede ka mamili...kaya para sakin gx10n ako kung alam mo gamitin at madaling gamitin makukuhan mo pa tunog gusto mo...recommend ko lng dapat may noisegate kau pedal na hiwalay papunta sa guitar pang full volume

Great comparison! Excellent job. Congrats. I think something's wrong with your zoom distortion config. Maybe cabinet or amp simulation. You certainly can get much more realistic distortions from it. I too think zoom wins. And it's half the price.of the Moer!

I have To confess, I own the zoom and I think that the clean tones are better and brighter on the zoom. I liked the distorted sounds on the ge-100 much better cause it's hard to keep the fizz off the heavier side of the zoom. Or I'm getting hard of the earing... lol

Shame that I can not sign all FX parameters to the pedal on G1Xon. I also think it is little to big, as I use it for the synths and put the FX on the desk (have two of them B1Xon and G1Xon). Over all the main value is the easy interface and wide range of FX. On the top there is unofficial FX manager where it is possible to update all FX on G1x from full range of other ZOOM pedals. Great device after all.

As a guitar player thru the years ive learned that small MFX like that are not sufficient. In the end you will still buy a new and more powerfull MFX. Always Consider the general apperance and expression pedal of any MFX. POD and Boss GT are way better with customable control you can tweak, it may not be as good as any branded analog out there but if your goal are simple gigging, recording and practicing try considering the 2 MFX.

Sir, paturo nman. Nahihirapan ako mag-adjust ng pedal niya, bigla nlang di gumana. Sinubukan kong sundin ung instruction sa manual but error ung lumalabas na message. Pagkatapos ganun pa rin di gumagana kahit volume control mo cya gamitin. Sinubukan ko na ring i-factory reset wla rin.. Salamat.

La G3 100 tiene mas resolución de sonido y eso es importante pero .. Ojo", a la Zoom se le puede llegar a sacar ese tipo de distorsión usada en la Mooer, solo hay que agregar el efecto "Booster" al banco de efectos de tu preset y listo. Lo único que no me gustó de la Moeer es su guitarra acústica, es una mierda, no suena nada a acústico. En cambio la guitarra acústica de la Zoom es muy buena. Pero bueno no estaría mal sacrificar eso por un mejor sonido.
