Death, taxes and g2 winning LEC. I know this wasn't the grand final, but the team that many thought might be better than them just got demolished. I doubt it will look any different in 2 weeks.

Very convincing from G2. Idk if it's good tho, BDS put up a good resistance, honnestly, they didn't play bad, no big mechanical mistakes, but G2 were just better and I'm afraid they won't have any challenge to improve regionally.

I love how G2 played today Caps and BB were absolutely on fire, MVP should honestly be split among them. But it's still G2, we have seen them destroy and run it down b2b and in rematch series. I fully expect a G2 v BDS rematch and it to be unpredictable. Could be a 3-2 or sweep to either team, and it fully depends on which G2 is going to show up. That said, i do have to show a bias here because the ceiling is just so much higher and deserves to win over the steady growth that BDS is showing

G2 should move to Korea. The competition in Europe is not challenging enough. They won't get to the Koreans level if they keep facing these bronze teams

The difference is in the individual level. There are no players in EU who can win 1vs 1 lanes vs G2.

@@jimky17records in LEC. Always fall short at Worlds in recent years. And they always come in as the last hope of the west just to get curb stomped everytime

Yike was a rookie last year. I'd say he is the best player on G2 and the best player in the LEC, so the fact it was his first worlds I'm not too surprised that he looked nervous in the international games. I expect alot more from this team this year because of the experience they got from last year

The amount of times I've seen Ksante escaping 1v5 ambush in pro play is absolutely ludicrous. This has been going on for soooo long as well like what the hell is going on?

Someone at riot loves Ksante that he can be this super tanky, pure tank build and does tons of damage while being so mobile and having shields and dashes and resets. Super balanced!!!

if they can keep this performance and get better than this performance when they are playing internationals for ONCE, THEN i can see them defeat the top teams. but thats a big "IF". Anyways we have been coping year after year so there is no point in doing that anymore, just hope they can prove themselfes in MSI this time

Can we please see some meta changes..Azir for the 5th season in a row viable, K'sante is completely OP, Xin Zhao gameplay is so annoyingly boring to watch. Botlane also always Varus Kalista. I am so tired of this season and especially K'sante...this champ needs a rework asap. This undying dude with 25 dashes is just not it anymore. I was fun for a season, now delete it please. Just watch 19:15 and tell me this is fair. Evene ahead, how is it ok to tank 5 ppl...and even vs a varus with max hp dmg...xD and a Brand.

The unfortunate truth is, if g2 doesn't get their early game together, any Asian team is gonna stomp them. Probably even the LCS team. Lec quality has just gone down quite a bit, and g2 without ocelote isn't the same anymore either

@@spencerfly1007 they were just overconfident and had a bad series, NRG litterally did nothing otherwise. G2 actually won against WBg and made it competetive against BLG. NRg did win, not to take that away from them, but it proves nothing tbf. They got dismantled by WBG.

@@ex1le18 Golden Guardians and Fnatic...? Also, can we talk about HOW did they actually win those games? Two ultra close BO1s where they threw away their lead and three pointless victories in BO series', where it was mostly the enemy team inting, rather than G2 doing something good. They will remain the best Europe team for the entirety of this year, but they won't do anything internationally yet again. I would say it's going to be even worse this year, given the trend that every EU team that keeps the same roster for the next split only gets worse, rather than better.
