Here is what I know about the situation, I hope this can clear it up for some people. Some of this is speculative, let me know if I got anything wrong! BLG ON (Nami) seems to have bugged his biscuits at the 4 minute mark. He bought a refil potion, then was given biscuits, then undid the potion buy. This is likely what caused his biscuits to break. However, he had no way of knowing they were bugged at this time. Around two minutes later, ON was OOM when he saw the jng getting chased. Because the enemy bot has rotated up to chase, the obvious play for ON here is to R the wave so they could bounce it and base. He tried to use his biscuit for mana to shove wave, but it wouldn't activate at all. He IMMEDIATELY paused because that was the exact moment he realized his biscuits were bugged. It's important to note that Riot briefly UNPAUSED to confirm the jng kill, then investigated. They determined that the biscuits WERE in fact bugged, but they could not fix it. They also determined that the bug was not impactful enough to justify a chronobreak. Keep in mind that G2 STILL got the jng kill, and ON was forced to keep his bugged biscuits. He had to sell them after basing to make due with the situation. You can make some flimsy arguments that the pause hurt G2s mental, but it is undeniable that this bug and pause resulted in a tangable mechanical advantage for G2. I was personally rooting for G2 in this series, but I find it EXTREMELY unlikely that this was a malicious attempt by BLG to gain an unfair advantage. Regardless of what happened exactly from a mechanical perspective, two things remain to be said: 1. Booing a team is not ok. ESPECIALLY when nobody even knows why the pause was initiated in the first place. Good sportsmanship is important for a healthy competition, and that includes the fans. 2. The blatant racism and hate speech in the live chats was disgusting. Have some basic respect and human decency. It's just a game after all.

People saying that ON "intentionally abused the bug to use later, see how he sold his ruby crystal and bought it again" are actually blind. He went faerie charm to ruby to ruby, which tells me it's more likely that he was indecisive on whether to take faerie or ruby and settled on ruby, but the timing with the biscuit caused the bug to occur

This is totally Riot's fault. Bugs are everywhere in this game. Last year, TES vs GAM the MAW bug (Which basically cost TES the game) Couple of days ago, GenG vs T1 the Aurelion Sol bug Now this.

God, this is beyond ridiculous. The kill on Viego was kept, G2 had a FB Aphelios but was still unable to win. G2 Stans need to accept the fact that better team wins, and no conspiracy theories will change that.v

after watching this series i've come to the conclusion that caps is the worst paid professional mid laner in the entire world, maybe even across all the other roles. no amount of cope could change the outcome of this game.

There's no doubt a possibility that teams can and will abuse bugs in order to get a remake when the game isn't going their way. We've seen losing games remade to the advantage of the losing team several times, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that some teams practice abusing bugs to remake high-stakes games like these once in a while. Now, proving that that's definitely what happened is a different matter entirely, and nobody here has the evidence necessary to back up such an accusation. Ultimately it's all just speculation. As for the comments in Twitch chat, racism isnt okay, but at the same time I think you need to dial back your expectations if you expect a live chat full of agitated fans to be a civil place. It's just internet hooligans. They don't represent the vast majority of fans. The vast majority of fans don't have Twitch chat open in the first place when watching esports because they recognize that there's no intelligent discussion to be had there. I think Riot made the right call to let the game go on as it was. Giving blg a remake would've been completely out of the question. Did it ruin G2's mental? I'm a G2 fan, but honestly who knows? The team plays a bit like the wind blows, and today didn't seem like a windy day.

The weird part is why is he realizes that when G2 try to pick off viego? Isn't that bug happen a while ago?

I think there should be a time limit to 30s after the bug happening for reporting it. The fact that they would allow a pause during a teamfight for something happening more than 60 seconds before is ridiculous

Okay first question. How did ON know that the cookie was bugged? second question. If he knew the cookie was bugged then how come he doesn't pause until 2 minutes later when their jungler is about to die?

Since it hasn't been fixed and it will never be it's clearly an intended mechanic.

Coaches can pause too, I don't know who hit the pause. Regardless, coach or player, the fact the pause was executed a few minutes later seems extremely shady.

G2 STILL LOST THE GAME even though BLG on was playing with one less rune... Humans tends to make excuses when they lose... sad fact.

This goes to show you why Riot needs to start cracking down on these bugs. Whether BLG ON did this intentionally or not, the result is still the same. That result being the match was disrupted by unintentional behavior from the coding cripling both the tempo of the game as well as the mental fortitude and praparedness both teams had. This bug without a doubt damaged this match.

this is clearly intentional by ON you see him buy ruby cristal and then undo to buy refillable right before cookie appears to re-undo again to buy the same ruby cristal, and then he by coincidence mention the fact right when XUN get caught in the river and is about to give first blood to Hans sama's aphelios... Nah, BLG should have lost that game at that moment and went on for game 5.
