I am so confused by G2 drafts this series, the Xayah played incredibly game 1 so giving over rell and playing triple front line into one of the best characters to deal with multiple tanks is kinda crazy to me.

I did not even had to watch the game. Saw the Ezreal Pick and skipped to Game 2

G2 managing to lose draft back to back on blue side is insane. Giving Xayah away is mental considering how dominant she's been so far.

As a G2 fan watching this game i cant help but it made me admire GENGs macro gameplay like its pure form of art for that reason i guess stomping t1 in the finals is not a fluke but pure skill knowledge of the game, team executipn diff id better watch eastern leagues a lot more too see hpw it differs from the west.

People talking about skill gap, look, im not american, neither european, so ill give my unbiased opinion. It was mostly draft gap, both games. The first one they had 2 adcs against a jax. Jax was just unkillable, he would press E, do whatever the fuck he wanted to the backline, and that was it, they did not kill him a single time. The second game they just had no damage, fucking lucian, really g2? And without a enchanter support that adc becomes even more useless. Also taliah is not a mage that deals a lot of damage, and the rest of their picks were tanks. That was draft gap way more than it was skill gap, I actually think they played nicely

yeah just unfortunate this worlds is totally different from last year's, in terms of the gap in between the contenders of the tournament. This year there's clearly a huge gap between Gen.G/JDG and the rest of the teams. G2 is having one of their most brilliant seasons and still they're nowhere near a match to Gen.G. Still, pretty excited to watch maybe the perfect finals ever that JDG vs Gen.G would be, hoping it happens and it turns out how it'd be expected to.
