Nah man. Jackie is way too old I hate to say it(cause he is one of my all time favourite players) but it had to happen. And Aleksi was misstake from the beggining, G2 brought in tier 2 player to play on top5 teams, plus IGL who likes to micro manage his team. It simply can not work with superstar rosters. NiKo knows better what NiKo should do than AleksiB. If Alekso knew better he would be NiKo himself. Aleksi is average caller, and far bellow average fragger. With all due respect he is not matherial for top10 teams. He is player for top 20lvl. Like old OG was. That is his limmit and that is where he feels confident and comfortable and does his best. I am not sure Hooxi is good chioice either, since he is also awfull fragger like Aleksi, but he is better IGL, and has style that fits more to G2, the style that allows more space and freedom to the players. Jackie could have stayed maybe, but Aleksi had to go for sure. I belive this is the best they could have done. Sad they released Amanek. Amanek could have been great adition. Very selfless and versitail player, who can fit multiple roles, and one of the most underrated support players. He can also do IGLing. Would rather have Ama than both JKS and Hooxi.

I really liked this run too, feel like they had potential to be huge. Maybe they should have kept Amanek around as a 6th as it seems like the versatile/lurk role wasn't fully leveraged. Here's to hoping Aleksib reunites with the old 2019 Katowice team as all of those guys are active RN I believe. I think they could become a superteam.

It is surley not donwgrade it is so hard to do worse than aleksi... I mean literally they can put me faceit lvl8 and I might have same results with G2 as Aleksi did. Not good enough caller or fragger for top tier lvl. Aleksi is IGL for top20 teams not top5. Hooxi is not much better fragger, but at least he is better caller. he can make his team work his strats, but still gives them much more freedom to do their stuff. Much better fit than Aleksi

I guess time will tell if he is a better fit for G2. They must've really disliked Aleksi to swap him for HooXi of all people though.

@@robinmarkus5868 I don't know, I concider the fact that one played Major play offs with tier 2 team, and the other one couldn't get there with superstar team ... Results are speaking. I know he is ass fragger, but still if he can get there with nicodoz Roy Jabbi he can get there with NiKo Hunter and m0NESY... it is not even oppinion based thing. It is fact, backed by results. Hooxi is far above Aleksi's lvl in terms of calling, plus he gives more freedom to the players. Aleksi is average or bellow average caller, while Hooxi is pretty good one. I mean he made two deep runs on Major with freaking CPH, u can't ignore that. I agree u can't ignore his individual numbers either, but also the fact is that he simply can't do worse than Aleksi. Aleksi was totaly lost, far beyond his league. These G2 results were the worst ever(with those players u simply can't do any worse than that) ... So either way he is gonna be an upgrade over Aleksi, u'll see. The results will be better for sure, cause it is so hard to do worse. I am just happy they got rid of aleksi. I was for Mezi and Aleks. Would be good fit for G2. Mezzi is beast and Aleks is okayish igl and sort of proven. So yeah. They could have deffinitly went for someone else, other than Hooxi, but again Hooxi is surley gonna do better than aleksi overall(since it is so hard to do worse)
