5 жыл бұрынHello everyone! Today I would like to share with you a project for the monthly Graphic45 Challenge. This time is all about albums! Make sure you use the #G45Album in your post.
For my album I used the beautiful Princess collection. I created two different page styles. I have a walk through video as well as a tutorial showing you how I created the pages. Thanks for watching!
Chipboard Covers 5-1/2x7-1/2
Spine 3x7-1/2
Hinge binding 7x12 with a 3/8 inch gusset
Page base
5-1/4x12 score at 7-1/4
5-1/4x8-1/4 score 1/2inch on both ends
Bottom pocket
2-3/4x6-1/4 score 1/2 inch on 3 sides
Inside flaps
3x4-14 (2) score at 1/2 inch

Beautiful mini Ginger and the paper collection is stunning as well, but then again all G45 papers are stunning. You are a born teacher Ginger, I loved the tutorial! Your camera was just fine when I was watching so not sure why there are comments about things not being centered, I never noticed it not being centered. Hugs, Brenda

This is the second video that has your project off to the far left side of the frame. Looks like your camera has been bumped off center. Lovely mini album! G45 puts all the right colors together in their wonderful collections. Scoreboard is, again, to the far left, as opposed to center of the frame. Thanks for the page tutorial. I bet your camera doesn't do justice to how beautiful your album is. My grand-daughter is 7 and in love with girly albums. Someday I will aspire to afford Graphic 45 but here in Canada it is double the price or more than there. Thank you for the inspiration, truly!

Love your album. So pretty. I will have to try this one. What are the measurements for the waterfalls and tags on the inside covers? I don’t have the g45 tag die. I could substitute that for a flap. Thanks again for your wonderful designs.

Ginger, that's a gorgeous album from the equally gorgeous G45 Princess collection! Loved your walk through. Where do you find magnets that are thin yet strong for these types of albums?

Linda Fuller Thank you! I purchase the Basic Grey magnets. You can find them online or in some local scrapbook stores. They come in 2 sizes. I like the smaller ones.

This is a beautiful mini album and it appears to be relatively easy to make. However, I've never made a mini album before and I'm not sure how to make the binding. Help... and thanks.

How do you get your pages and flaps to lay flat?

Amy Armstrong I use my bone folder and burnish, burnish, burnish... Also, when adding my pages to the hinge and don’t go all the way to the bottom of the hinge. I leave about 1/8 inch from the spine so that way the pages turn and lay flat.
