Noel takes a break from the swimming pool to join a sad Séamus and review last weekends All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Finals. They analyse how the teams had identified patterns in each others play, the turning point for Cork and what Clare did to reach the final. Special shoutouts for Darragh Fitzgibbon and Shane O'Donnell too - as early contenders for HOTY!

@kenoneill7984 he just roasted Big Will in the last two games. Fitz has been in poor cork teams. He's now in a top team, and he will win at least three, in my opinion.

@@johnwall1989 Aaaaaahaaaa!! 😂😂😂😂😂 "Top Cork teams"....are you actually reading what you're typing at all?? A full strength Cork team fell over the line by 2 points vs a Limerick team who were missing 3 MAIN players & we didn't play particular well either for most parts of the semi final.....We hit 14 wides which at least 8 of those we'd put over the bar with our eyes closed on any given day. Ye also haven't even won 1 All IRE title yet & yer talking about winning 3!!!???? 🤣🤣 You'd do well to remember that ye lot avn't won L McCarthy in 19 years!! 😂😂 If ye lot win 1 then ye'll be doing very well. Luimneach aren't going anywhere at all.....& we'll be roaring back in 2025 to go on to claim a 7th Munster title in a row & to reclaim Liam McCarthy for a 6th time in 7 years! 😁 Already looking to batin Cork up on our own turf in the 2025 Mun Championship! 💚🤍👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁

@@kenoneill7984thank god the limerick team were good losers the other day and not like you. You’re getting very worked up. Maybe go for a walk, get some fresh air and clear the head 👍 limerick are a great team and will be back next year, no need to have a melt down

For the Kilkenny goal a crucial factor is the amount of time Reid has to advance and strike. He has that because the ref forces Shane O'Donnell off for a blood sub just before it. He's meant to be splitting the defenders. Ian Galvin comes on but the restart is blown while he's still out around the 65 and not allowed to get into position. At 25:01 you can see him still outside the 45 trying to get in to where he's meant to be

Clare beat Cork below in Cork without Tony Kelly and Ryan Taylor who are 2 of Clare's best players. Cian Galvin who is a defender started in midfield that day.

Clare beat a Cork team who were after making whole sale changes and had their best team on the field playing together for the first time, not so Clare , and man sent off for Cork , Clare only just about won , Cork are away better now , I wish ye all the Best in the final but as a neutral, Kilkenny ran at Clare in the first half and should have been two more goals up , Cork are faster so Clare will struggle big time if and When Cork run at ye , but anything can happen in a final, young fast players won it for Clare in 13 , I see the same for Cork now,
